I agree with your aunt on the first point, but I am still going to work my tail off for RP. Steve, no offense dude, but those websites are extremely biased and not scientifically sound. Hemoglobin does not "live" ANYWHERE after the host is dead...whether its a "couple of thousands of years" to support "biblical references" or 65 million years to support evolutionists. Just does not happen...sorry. The ONLY way that I would believe this nonsense is for them to genetically recreate the original creature that hosted this hemoglobin. Maybe if they pray hard enough it might be doable? Come on man, please don't go down this path. If this is all true, then dinosaurs were walking the Earth at the same time that the Egyptians were building their pyramids...just 2 thousand years prior to Christ's birth. If the Creationists choose to go down this path, then they are falling into their own trap based on time lines... |

Not going to argue with you Jeremi. As I said, I continue to support RP, though this is one area I disagree with him--one of 2 or 3 out of hundreds....
The evidence of a young earth is over-whelming. One of the callers after me on C-SPAN brought up new discoveries in Texas of dinosaur and human footprints criss-crossing in a river bed excavation (not the older Paluxey River stuff.) I firmly believe that dinosaurs walked the Earth as recently as 4-5000 years ago, and I have researched all the arguments on both sides thoroughly. |

and don't forget many disbelieve evolution. My Aunt says that dinosaur bones are only 4-5,000 years old. I ask the question do you ever watch the discovery channel, "no I don't believe in propoganda" huh? But she believes that Iraq started the war. seems like a lost cause no matter how I try. I enjoy the discussion in this "Israel Factor" thread. Dr. Pierce used to say that "we're in the talking phase of the revolution," and the same could be said for this so-called revolution to put Ron Paul in the White House. Dr. Paul has brought us together, from incredibly disparate political points of view to talk, to discuss and discover our common ground; to educate one another about root causes, not just deplore and lament about the symptoms of our demise. Have heart, Theresa, the cause is not lost just yet. Your aunt watches too much TV and is a few million years off on the age of the boneyard (the Mesozoic Era, from roughly 248 million year ago to 65 million years ago), but give her credit for being right about one of your favorites, the Discovery TV Channel, being a transmission belt for raw, if sophisticated propaganda. Knowing what I know about controlled mass media, which includes the vast Discovery Network, most certainly, I did what you or anyone curious enough could just as easily do in a matter of a few mouse clicks: I GOOGLED Discovery Channel. http://corporate.disc... About Discovery Communications Discovery Communications is the number-one nonfiction media company reaching more than 1.5 billion cumulative subscribers in over 170 countries. Through TV and digital media, Discovery's 100-plus worldwide networks include Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, The Science Channel, Discovery Health and Discovery HD Theater. Discovery Communications is owned by Discovery Holding Co. (NASDAQ: DISCA, DISCB), Advance/Newhouse Communications and John S. Hendricks, Discovery's founder and chairman. For more information, please visit www.discovery.com. --- "Aha, Newhouse!," you might then exclaim. "I just read that name Newhouse in that exposee, 'Who Rules America?' about Jewish control of America's mass media." Then, since you bookmarked that essay http://www.natall.com... --- "Much of the [newsprint] competition has disappeared through the monopolistic tactics of the Jewish Newhouse family's holding company, Advance Publications. Advance publications buys one of two competing newspapers, and then starts an advertising war by slashing advertising rates, which drives both papers to the edge of bankruptcy. Advance Publications then steps in and buys the competing newspaper. Often both papers continue: one as a morning paper and the other as an evening paper. Eventually, though, one of the papers is closed?giving the Newhouse brothers the only daily newspaper in that city. For example, in 2001 the Newhouses closed the Syracuse Herald-Journal leaving their other Syracuse newspaper, the Post-Journal, with a monopoly. "The Newhouse media empire provides an example of more than the lack of real competition among America's daily newspapers: it also illustrates the insatiable appetite Jews have shown for all the organs of opinion control on which they could fasten their grip. The Newhouses own 31 daily newspapers, including several large and important ones, such as the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Newark Star-Ledger, and the New Orleans Times-Picayune; Newhouse Broadcasting, consisting of television stations and cable operations; the Sunday supplement Parade, with a circulation of more than 35 million copies per week; some two dozen major magazines, including The New Yorker, Vogue, Wired, Glamour, Vanity Fair, Bride's, Gentlemen's Quarterly, Self, House & Garden, and all the other magazines of the wholly-owned Conde Nast group. The staffing of the magazines is, as you might expect, quite Kosher. Parade can serve as an example: Its publisher is Randy Siegel, its editor and senior vice president is Lee Kravitz, its creative director is Ira Yoffe, its science editor is David H. Levy, and its health editor is Dr. Isadore Rosenfeld. "This Jewish media empire was founded by the late Samuel Newhouse, an immigrant from Russia. When he died in 1979 at the age of 84, he bequeathed media holdings worth an estimated $1.3 billion to his two sons, Samuel and Donald. With a number of further acquisitions, the net worth of Advance Publications has grown to more than $9 billion today..." --- So, one can call Discovery's 100-plus worldwide networks "corporate media," if he chooses to, but it's the sleazy Newhouse boys who are behind it all, with all that innocuous programing like Animal Planet and such -- informative and entertaining as it is -- as cover for whatever is their true agenda. Discovery makes the claim that they are the number one nonfiction network, yet they also have a news division, BBC Worldwide and BBC America that filters all the nonfiction through the Newhouse filter. Let's not forget all their so-called "Hispanic" programming, either, that caters to the 30,000,000+ invaders of the United States. I don't know the politics of the Newhouse boys, whether they are Zionists or anti-Zionists, communists or anti-communists. They are capitalists, that's a cinch. Are they Orthodox, Reform or Conservative religionists, or are they atheists? Maybe they are Jews for Jesus? Are they Democrat or Republican? Who knows? A first year investigative journalist should be able to figure that out and give the American people a nonfiction report without leaving his cubicle, but he won't -- not if he wants to remain a journalist. Don't expect to read about the Newhouse boys' politics or their religious leanings in your Sunday morning paper's decidedly pro-Zionist Parade magazine insert. Talk about propaganda! |
