Get use to this, the special interest groups haven't started yet, every chance they get to bury Ron Paul they will.

When ever you recognize a Dr Ron Paul bashing by that corrupt group send it through your email and let your people know what the special interest groups are doing and why.

Stay with it. You are not going to believe this.

Well here it is... I just got off the phone with Loma Wharton, she's the woman who so eloquently buried the sheriff and the commissioners with here presentation, she told me this is what fired it off. I'll be having her on my show in the next several weeks, so be prepared. I'm also getting a copy of the papers she served on that county's LIARS and CHEATS...

WTP Takes Action Against Vote Fraud
Diebold Vote Machines Fail In Iowa

Last Thursday, two days before the August 11th presidential Iowa Straw Poll, Bob Schulz and seven other Plaintiffs filed suit in federal court in Des Moines, Iowa seeking to permanently prohibit the state of Iowa from conducting any Straw Poll, Caucus, Primary, Special or General Election unless the voting and vote counting was open, verifiable, machine-free, and computer-free.

Upon filing the suit, the Plaintiffs formally asked the Court for emergency injunctive relief, i.e., to order state election officials to modify the voting procedures for the Iowa Straw Poll to insure the validity of the voting process.

Specifically, the desired order sought to eliminate the use of Diebold voting machines that had been officially decertified by the state of California on August 3rd, to assure that the ballots were never out of public view, to force state election officials to publicly hand-count the ballots at each voting station and to announce the results and to conduct the tabulation of the vote station subtotals under full public observation.

Raymond,

I think you should either get your own blog OR create new discussions with descriptive titles with every new topic. This is not a "thread" because it's broken, over and over again. This format doesn't exactly promote discussion. This is a monologue -- the "Raymond Show", if you will. Thanks for considering.

Hello Chad:

I do this because, all information I post and any discussion on the topic can be found in this post.

I find great information posted by very intelligent supporters for Dr Ron Paul. If I want to find this information a week later, finding it can be very time consuming.

If I post information on a subject and you would like to start a discussion, you will have a response. I have from 20 to 100 hits before it reaches the third page.

I started this discussion with this title. If this is not understood, Dr. Ron Paul loses, he must get into the primaries I have interviewed hundreds of people in my mall in Reno NV and they have no clue as to what it will take for Dr Ron Paul to become president of the United States. 99% of the people I interviewed know nothing about voting in the primary for anybody. I work in the field for Dr Ron Paul everyday for two hours, this is hands on with live people. I wounder what most of the blogers in Meetup are doing live for Dr. Paul???

This is a monologue -- the "Raymond Show", if you will.
I do not find this to be a monologue and I am not the Raymond Show. I am trying to bring new and important information for anyone who opens my post. If you think there is nothing of value in my postings, just pass me by.

I am only on this site because of Dr Ron Paul. If Dr Paul does not win the primary that will be the end of this country and me in politics.

Raymond

Learn from the fall of Rome, US warned
By Jeremy Grant in Washington

Published: August 14 2007 00:06 | Last updated: August 14 2007 00:06

The US government is on a ?burning platform? of unsustainable policies and practices with fiscal deficits, chronic healthcare underfunding, immigration and overseas military commitments threatening a crisis if action is not taken soon, the country?s top government inspector has warned.

David Walker, comptroller general of the US, issued the unusually downbeat assessment of his country?s future in a report that lays out what he called ?chilling long-term simulations?.

These include ?dramatic? tax rises, slashed government services and the large-scale dumping by foreign governments of holdings of US debt.

Drawing parallels with the end of the Roman empire, Mr Walker warned there were ?striking similarities? between America?s current situation and the factors that brought down Rome, including ?declining moral values and political civility at home, an over-confident and over-extended military in foreign lands and fiscal irresponsibility by the central government?.

?Sound familiar?? Mr Walker said. ?In my view, it?s time to learn from history and take steps to ensure the American Republic is the first to stand the test of time.?

Mr Walker?s views carry weight because he is a non-partisan figure in charge of the Government Accountability Office, often described as the investigative arm of the US Congress.

While most of its studies are commissioned by legislators, about 10 per cent ? such as the one containing his latest warnings ? are initiated by the comptroller general himself.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Mr Walker said he had mentioned some of the issues before but now wanted to ?turn up the volume?. Some of them were too sensitive for others in government to ?have their name associated with?.

?I?m trying to sound an alarm and issue a wake-up call,? he said. ?As comptroller general I?ve got an ability to look longer-range and take on issues that others may be hesitant, and in many cases may not be in a position, to take on.

?One of the concerns is obviously we are a great country but we face major sustainability challenges that we are not taking seriously enough,? said Mr Walker, who was appointed during the Clinton administration to the post, which carries a 15-year term.

The fiscal imbalance meant the US was ?on a path toward an explosion of debt?.

?With the looming retirement of baby boomers, spiralling healthcare costs, plummeting savings rates and increasing reliance on foreign lenders, we face unprecedented fiscal risks,? said Mr Walker, a former senior executive at PwC auditing firm.

Current US policy on education, energy, the environment, immigration and Iraq also was on an ?unsustainable path?.

?Our very prosperity is placing greater demands on our physical infrastructure. Billions of dollars will be needed to modernise everything from highways and airports to water and sewage systems. The recent bridge collapse in Minneapolis was a sobering wake-up call.?

Mr Walker said he would offer to brief the would-be presidential candidates next spring.

?They need to make fiscal responsibility and inter-generational equity one of their top priorities. If they do, I think we have a chance to turn this around but if they don?t, I think the risk of a serious crisis rises considerably?.

Raymond,

You said:
"I find great information posted by very intelligent supporters for Dr Ron Paul. If I want to find this information a week later, finding it can be very time consuming."

Isn't that what browser bookmarks and Word are for?

I don't think your posts lack value, I just think it would serve the board better if you would organize your posts by topic as we all do.

For instance, your latest post might have been better placed in a new discussion entitled "Learn from the fall of Rome, US warned" so we can discuss it without intersecting discussions of your numerous other topics like:

- voting in primaries
- Fred Thompson on the Jay Leno TV show
- Utah GOP straw poll
- Aaron Russo
- becoming a delegate
- Great Ron Paul Overnight
- immigration
- Iowans for Tax Relief
- Dr. Mercola
- Military Commissions Act
- IRS Agent, Sherry Jackson
- Bill O'Reilly Gets His Ass Kicked By Phil Donahue
- Las Vegas Meetup Group
- Napoleon Hill Foundation
- Tommy Cryer
- Windfall tax on stock market profits
- GOP Voter Vault
- Denver Traffic court
- Libertarians and the War
- Zeitgeist The Movie
- Impeachment
- NRSC Presidential Preference Poll
- Social Security
- Iowa Straw Poll
- Clinton's Cleavage
- Ron Paul Radio
- FreedomWorks Weekly Update
- Paul's First TV Ad
- Voter Fraud

... and so on!

Your method of posting does not promote discussion and isn't in the spirit of a message board. If you want to continue this format and don't want to use this message board as a repository, you should consider creating your own blog that we can visit. It's free.

I am not discounting your devotion to the campaign or the importance of the information you post. I am, however, strongly suggesting that adhering to the message board format would distribute your info more gracefully.

As a frequent reader of Raymond's information, I find this format works exceptionally well as a work around to Meet Up's inadequacies, specifically a lack of search functionality. I have been contributing to this board for several months, and I often wish I could return to a previous post of mine or a specific thread to obtain valuable information that I failed to bookmark. I know exactly where to turn if I am looking for information Raymond has shared.

Raymond is mastering efficiencies with the limited tools provided with this board. Others have completely moved to sites with more robust functionality.

This thread format works well for Raymond, and he is not imposing on anyone while following this method. If you, or others, prefer to work following another method, please, by all means, do so. Neither of you will be imposing on the other. A mental skip to the next thread (ignore) works as well as a delete button but with even less effort.

Well, apparently I've been keeping company with Libertarians over the past few months because I'm beginning to sing their song. (Will wonders never cease....) wink

Your method of posting does not promote discussion and isn't in the spirit of a message board.

And just for consideration, Chad, it is highly possible that Raymond's intent is to educate, elicit critical thought and encourage further self investigation of his topics rather than promote discussions. Just a thought....
