This will be a live internet radio call in program for and about the Ron Paul Revolution. It will serve as a media outlet for campaign announcements and news, a vehicle for the organization of Ron Paul support, a medium for the dissemination of ideas and tactics and a tool for the mobilization of large numbers of supporters in the movement to elect Ron Paul.

Ron Paul Radio will chronicle the progress of the amazing firestorm of popular support for Dr. Ron Paul's presidential bid. There will be live statements from the candidate himself along with Q&A, interviews with campaign staff and live reports of developing campaign stories and interviews with key figures in the election process. Ron Paul Radio will also provide Ron Paul supporters with a forum for the exchange of ideas, the coordination of plans, the announcement of events and the discussion of important political developments.

Ron Paul Radio is an independent effort of individual supporters of the Ron Paul 2008 presidential campaign and is not an official organ of the campaign.

The Fear Factor by Dr Ron Paul

July 30, 2007

While fear itself is not always the product of irrationality, once experienced it tends to lead away from reason, especially if the experience is extreme in duration or intensity. When people are fearful they tend to be willing to irrationally surrender their rights.

Thus, fear is a threat to rational liberty. The psychology of fear is an essential component of those who would have us believe we must increasingly rely on the elite who manage the apparatus of the central government.

The statement ?Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety? has been attributed to Benjamin Franklin. It is clear, people seek out safety and security when they are in a state of fear, and it is the result of this psychological state that often leads to the surrender of liberty.

As Washington moves towards it summer legislative recess, indications of fear are apparent. Things seem similar to the days before the war in Iraq. Prior to the beginning of the war, several government officials began using phrases like ?we don?t want the smoking gun to come in the form of a mushroom cloud,? and they spoke of drone airplanes being sent to our country to do us great harm.

It is hard to overstate the damage this approach does psychologically, especially to younger people. Of course, we now know there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, let alone any capacity to put them to successful use.

To calm fears, Americans accepted the patriot act and the doctrine of pre-emptive war. We tolerated new laws that allow the government to snoop on us, listen to our phone calls, track our financial dealings, make us strip down at airports and even limited the rights of habeas corpus and trial by jury. Like some dysfunctional episode of the twilight zone, we allowed the summit of our imagination to be linked up with the pit of our fears.

Paranoia can be treated, but the loss of liberty resulting from the social psychology to which we continue to subject ourselves is not easily reversed. People who would have previously battled against encroachments on civil liberties now explain the ?necessity? of those ?temporary security measures? Franklin is said to have railed against.

Americans must reflect on their irrational fears if we are to turn the tide against the steady erosion of our freedoms. Fear is the enemy. The logically confusing admonition to ?fear only fear? does not help, instead we must battle against irrational fear and the fear-mongers who promote it.

It is incumbent on a great nation to remain confident, if it wishes to remain free. We need not be ignorant to real threats to our safety, against which we must remain vigilant. We need only to banish to the ash heap of history the notion that we ought to be ruled by our fears and those who use them to enhance their own power.

How important is this 2008 Presidential Election?

The 2008 Presidential Election and the winning candidate can either continue on this current path of the demise of the United States Government by continuing to cater to the corrupt Special Interest Groups

Some people vote for there candidate by party affiliation, Democrat or Republican and never have taken the time to understand his political intentions, his intelligence, honesty, background, and most important his past leadership in politics.

Today we are no longer just voting for a new President, we as a nation that is sick with a cancer in our political system. Putting that cancer in remission is up to all of us.

We must study each candidate in both parties, putting all the information together so you can make this life saving political decision. Again, this election will be one of the biggest decisions you will make in your lifetime.

I personally have studied all candidates as soon as they decided to run for President, I would use several independent Think Tanks as my study source.
From all this information, there is only one man, an outstanding leader that far surpasses any other candidate in either party. He is Congressman Dr. Ron Paul M.D. (Obstetrician & Gynecologist)
Delivered over 4000 babies in his long medical career and I like that.

Study the man not the political party, stay independent and you will make the correct choice.

For Dr Ron Paul, you must register Republican that is the platform he is running from, he needed a platform. The Republican Party has nothing to do with influencing his decision-making.

The date of the primary is different in every state, find out when your primary is and vote.

Dr Paul will need all the help he can get. He needs money and people to work and support him. My group loves Dr Ron Paul and what he stands for and you will understand this when you study this man, you will want to help?

Carry registration cards to vote with you all the time and have them sign the form. Contact your entire E-mail list and tell them how critical this Presidential election is to save this nations life.

I am sending this into two parts

Part 1-1

This is one of the most important I have ever posted by Dr. Steven LaTulippe M.D. It is outstanding information.

There is one thing the good doctor did not mention. The people he is talking about could have Dr Ron Paul killed. I have contacted Dr. Ron Paul headquarters; I suggested they should start having security around him now as the special interest groups have realized he is a major threat. Please send this to everyone you know, this is very powerful information.

Ron Paul and the Empire
by Steven LaTulippe

DIGG THIS

"If we have to use force, it is because we are America! We are the indispensable nation. We stand tall, and we see further into the future."

~ Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright

Can Ron Paul really win? Does he have a snowball's chance of becoming the next president, or are we all kidding ourselves?

Now, Rep. Paul's quixotic campaign seems to be picking up steam. His recent fundraising statistics reveal a blossoming, internet-based movement that is uniting libertarians and other concerned citizens from across the political spectrum. His performance in the media has been sharp, and his organization seems to be honing its message.

While there are plenty of reasons for optimism, I think we need to be clear-eyed about the road ahead. If Rep. Paul somehow manages to remain a viable candidate and seriously challenge his mainstream opponents, things will get extremely interesting. He faces a set of obstacles unlike any other candidate in my lifetime.

When evaluating his chances, it is important to accept one fact about contemporary America: This is not a democracy, and certainly not a constitutional republic. America is actually a carefully concealed oligarchy. A few thousand people, mostly in government, finance, and the military-industrial complex, run this country for their own purposes. By manipulating the two-party system, influencing the mainstream media, and controlling the flow of campaign finance money, this oligarchy works to secure the nomination of its preferred candidates (Democratic and Republican alike). Thus will give voters a "choice" between Puppet A and Marionette B.

Unlike the establishment's candidates, Ron Paul is a freelancer running on three specific ideas:

1. The federal government, must function within the strict guidelines of the Constitution.

2. America should deconstruct its empire, withdraw our troops from around the world and reestablish a foreign policy based on noninterventionist.

3. America should abolish the Federal Reserve Bank, eliminate fiat currency and return to hard money.

This is not a political agenda. This is not a party platform. It is a revolution. The entire ruling oligarchy would be swept away if these ideas were ever implemented. Every sentence, every word, every jot and title of this agenda is unacceptable, repellent and hateful to America's ruling elite.

The reasons for this are obvious.

Through its control of the Federal Reserve, the banking elites make billions of dollars in unearned profits and exert enormous influence over the American economy. Countless industries and special interest groups (both foreign and domestic) have sprung up around our defense and national security budgets. The bureaucratic elites who dominate the federal government despise the Constitution's limitations on their power and view the document as just an archaic "piece of paper."

Not anyone who believes these folks will simply ?walk away? if Ron Paul is elected president obviously understands with whom they are dealing.

When its authority over the Southern states was challenged in the 19th Century, the oligarchy suspended the Constitution and launched a bloody war that killed three quarters of a million people. They arrested newspaper editors, deported antiwar congressional representatives, and burned down several American cities.

A century later, the oligarchy nuked two Japanese cities, killing thousands of civilians in the twinkle of an eye.

Victim of the Hiroshima atomic bomb

When its marginal interests were threatened in Southeast Asia, the oligarchy launched a devastating war that killed over a million people and left the region marinating in toxic defoliating chemicals.

Vietnamese civilians fleeing an air raid

To further its interests in the Middle East, the oligarchy slapped horrific sanctions on Iraq that killed 250,000 children (and then trotted out Madeleine Albright ? one of Clinton's blood-stained trolls ? to smugly declare that the deaths were "worth it").

Malnourished Iraqi child

Keeping these facts in mind, we must ask ourselves a simple question: If the oligarchy was willing to behave this way to protect its often marginal interests, what would it do to stop a devastating assault on its very existence?

The attack on Ron Paul's candidacy will begin in earnest when it appears he has an even remote possibility of winning. It will follow a predictable path:

The first step is already in play. The establishment will start by simply ignoring him, by using its power in the mainstream media and their influence over campaign donors. If possible, they will find ways of excluding him from the debates.

Part 2-2

This strategy is already failing. The internet and talk radio are outside the elite's direct control and are being used effectively by Rep. Paul to "get the message out." (In addition, mark my words, eventually the oligarchy will come for the internet. This medium has been a royal pain in their derriere from day one).

If this strategy fizzles, the establishment will move on to ridicule and fear mongering. Ron's ideas will be grotesquely distorted in establishment media "hit pieces." They'll say he wants to permit heroin use in public schools, or that he wants old people to die in the streets without their social security checks, or that he wants to allow greedy industrialists to dump toxic waste into our drinking water.

The next arrow in the oligarchy's quiver will be scandal ? real or fabricated. Usually, this takes the form of pictures, billing records, etc. involving financial or sexual hi-jinks. For folks with the right motivation and abilities, it would be child's play to implicate him in some sort of phony ethical, moral, or financial skullduggery ( e.g., doctored pictures, sordid media accounts from "eyewitnesses," etc.).

If Ron somehow survives this assault, the oligarchy will move on to the criminal justice system. On some fine day, a stretch limo will pull up to the Capitol Building and one of the establishment's consigliore?s (Jim Baker...or maybe Vernon Jordan) will ooze into Ron's office for a "chat."

Maybe Rep. Paul forgot to fill out Form X109/23W on his 1997 income tax return.

Or maybe he drained a mud puddle when he built his new house...and maybe that puddle could theoretically be classified as a "wetland?"

Or, even better, maybe a close relative is in hot water with OSHA/FDA/IRS/you-name-it (federal prosecutors love to go after relatives in order to gain "leverage").

Rep. Paul's sentence could be lessened, of course...provided he agreed to drop his candidacy as part of a "plea bargain."

Ayn Rand once stated that the hallmark of authoritarian systems is the creation of innumerable, indecipherable laws. Such systems make everyone an un-indicted felon and allow for the exercise of arbitrary government power via selective prosecution.

If this tactic somehow failed and it appeared that Rep. Paul was still a credible threat to win the presidency, then things could get dicey.

The establishment may decide to let him take office and then use their considerable influence to ensure his presidency ended in failure ? mostly through their control of Congress, the federal bureaucracy, and the mainstream media.

The problem with this strategy (from the oligarchy's perspective) is that it entails considerable risk. As president, Rep. Paul could use the substantial powers of the office to inflict untold damage to the imperial structure (especially if he chose to withdraw American troops stationed overseas). Worse, he could appoint anti-government "ideologues" to a variety of positions in the federal government.

The damage could take decades to undo.

If these options fail, the oligarchy could resort to various "extra-legal" strategies ? anything from vote rigging to trumped-up impeachment charges.

Either way, one thing is certain: The American establishment controls a worldwide empire, has the power to print the world's reserve currency at will, and can enact virtually any law without constitutional constraint. Such power is rarely surrendered without a long, bitter struggle.

One Reporter's Opinion ? Culture Clashes Could Destroy >
America

George Putnam
Friday, July 27, 2007

It is this reporter's opinion that the audience was spellbound when they listened to former Colorado Gov. Richard D. Lamm deliver a real shocker ? How to destroy >America !

Preposterous you say? Lamm says if you believe America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's have a go at it. It is not that hard to do.

Said Lamm, ". . . No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and they all fall, and that an autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide."

And Lamm proceeded to tell us how they destroy themselves. That no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. As example, he quotes the historical scholar, Seymour Martin Lipset, who said, "The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy."

Lamm in his dissertation on how to destroy America , points to multiculturalism, the myth that there are no cultural differences and all cultures are equal. And he points to the fact that the
United States is fast becoming a "Hispanic Quebec," that Los Angeles and
Miami are no longer American cities, and the current mayor of Los Angeles is a dedicated member of La Raza and other Mexican separation organizations.

Chicago ,
Houston , Dallas ,
New York , Atlanta ,
San Francisco , and other cities are not far behind. They are making the United States into a Hispanic Quebec.

Lamm points to the hundreds of Spanish-speaking radio and television programs invading our airwaves, giving voice to the 56 Mexican consulates aiding and abetting illegal aliens to imbed themselves in our country.

The tip of a deadly Mexican invasion manifests itself with the massive 20,000 member 18th Street Gang,
MS -13 Gang, and sheer lawlessness running rampant.

In the rise and fall of our democracy, Lamm points to the fastest growing demographic group ? the least educated. A second underclass that is unassimilated, undereducated, antagonistic to our population with a 50 percent dropout rate from our high schools . . . hundreds of illegal kids who can't speak English who come from functionally illiterate parents.

In 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor, stated, "Democracy is always temporary in nature: it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. >

"From that moment on, the majority will always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."

Lamm concluded in his frightening dissertation that having made America a bilingual ? bicultural country, having established multiculturalism, and having established a doctrine of "victimology," uninforced immigration laws, and you have the seeds for disaster.

Look around and we find our president and Congress dismantling America by design. Call it multiculturalism, diversity, one-world government, or globalism, it spells finish for the United States of America as a free, cohesive, sustainable, functioning society.

George Orwell, in his book "1984," cited three slogans: war is peace; freedom is slavery; ignorance is strength.

Former Gov. Lamm, in his dissertation on the fall of democracies, repeats that the greatest civilizations from the beginning of history have lasted little more than 200 years and that those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.

An agreement was reached in 1993 through which international legal structures might actually force abandonment of the entire governmental framework built so carefully by the Founding Fathers. I speak of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Next up the North American Union (NAU) which could be the next step toward the final dissolution of the
United States through the so-called harmonization of our law, our sovereignty with that of
Canada and Mexico . The big three are meeting August 21, 2007 in Canada . The Founding Fathers must be turning over in their graves.

In the words of George Santayana, the brilliant philosopher, "Those who will not learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

To Ron Paul Supporters: Aug 2, 2007

Everything we are all doing is going to be brought to NAUGHT --- if the Diebold computers being used to "count" the votes by the Iowa GOP at the Iowa Straw Poll - are used to STEAL the Straw Poll Election from Ron Paul.

YES - despite a study from computer scientists at the University of California paid for by the Secretary of State of California - publicized in the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times LAST SATURDAY (July 28, 2007) - the Iowa GOP is STILL planning to use the easily rigged Diebold computers to "count" the vote at the Straw poll!

You see, the study showed that the Diebold computers were easily hacked, easily rigged, -- and totally unreliable for conducting elections. And this is old news, several authoritative studies have already shown this from MIT, Cal Tech, Princeton University, and numerous other sources.

Search "Diebold Princeton University" on YOUTUBE - and you can see a 9 minute demonstration. Add "FOX News" to the search - and there is another 3 minute demonstration by these scientists on FOX News.

Citizens for a Fair Vote Count and allies are conducting a verification EXIT POLL at the Ames Straw Poll. We're asking all Ron Paul people who vote in the Ames Straw Poll in the official election on the easily rigged Diebold Machines - to cast a second "ballot" in our exit poll. IF WE COME UP with 5000 Ron Paul exit poll ballots - the Iowa GOP better not say he only got 2000 votes! Get the point?

WE NEED YOU! Did you see the movie BRAVEHEART??? We need the Highlanders to come down to the "battle" at Ames, Iowa on August 11, 2007 - by the hundreds - and the thousands. We need about 200 volunteers to work with our verification "exit poll" on the day of August 11 --- sign up at the election reform meetup, which is at this address:

http://electionreform...

We need 30 or 40 people donating an average of $100 to help us pay for the ballots, t-shirts, headquarters, banners, tables, chairs, etc. to make sure that Ron Paul's vote is not stolen! Even $5 will help! Please email your contributions to paypal at: action@networkamerica.org - you can also find the donate button at the above election reform meetup address. We can confront the computer votefraud issue at Ames, Iowa in a big way!

Millions of our fellow Americans have fought and bled and died over the past 200 years for our freedoms --- let's not let Diebold and the Iowa GOP spit on their sacrifice in Ames by conducting yet another SECRET VOTE "COUNT." Let all of us HONOR the sacrifice of all our fallen soldiers over 200 years by ENSURING AN OPEN AND HONEST VOTE COUNT.

For more info, go to this web page for two stories: http://www.votefraud....
- one tells what happened at the Ames Straw Poll in 1995. One (A House without Doors) tells about the proven vote fraud against Pat Buchanan in the 1996 Iowa Presidential Caucuses, and how it was done. See you in Ames?

-------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- -------------------------
AUG. 2, 2007 MEETING MINUTES

· Welcome & (optional) introduce new members

We had 21 people attend this meeting, which included some new members. A quick introduction was done around the room.

· Update on our group?s latest activities

It was reported that at our last rally on July 27, that we had great success and passed out around 500 flyers at arTown as had been the case in the previous 2 weeks. Also reported was some interest from KOH talk radio to the press release we sent out after our last rally.

· Discussion about Nevada Republican Caucus system

o Nomination Process ---- After attending several Washoe County Republican meetings and also talking with County Chairman Heidi Smith just today at county headquarters, we're starting to piece things together. We don't have the whole picture yet, but so far it appears to be as follows:

->To get Ron Paul the national Republican nomination we have to get delegates elected to the national convention from Nevada that will vote for RP.
-> -> To do this we have to get delegates elected to the state convention (May, 2008) that will vote for RP.
-> -> -> To do this we need to get delegates elected at the county caucus election in April, 2008, that will vote for RP.
-> -> -> ->To get to the county convention, you need to be selected as a delegate from your precinct. It appears that at the caucus, (Jan. 19) each precinct will be gathered around a table to vote for a precinct chair person and a delegate(s) from the precinct to the state convention. The precinct chair is not an automatic delegate, but would have to run for delegate also. So it's important to get yourself or another RP supporter elected as delegate from your precinct.

o Everyone must try to become a delegate! ---- The first thing you must do is register as a Republican if you have not already done so. A strategy to get yourself elected as a delegate at the caucus has been proposed by our regional RP director, Jeff Greenspan. He told us that since the precinct chair is not an automatic delegate that we should not run for that position, but only run for precinct delegate. To do this you need to contact people in your precinct and try to get them as RP supporters . One way to do this is to contact people to tell them about RP. When you have convinced them, get them to register to vote Republican (this is legal to do--that is, campaign for RP while getting them to register). If you do get them registered to vote as a Republican and sell them on RP, then make sure they come to the caucus on Jan 19 and vote for you as a delegate.

EVERYONE (Republicans who attend the caucus) will also be voting for a Presidential candidate at the caucus. This makes it imperative that we "flood" the caucus with RP supporters!

· Signs and Banners

o Collective mass-purchase ---- Jennifer had some rates for purchasing bulk signs. It was noted that our treasury had only about $215. We could use a donation (large or small) from everyone, especially those who haven't done so.
Barbara mentioned some very good deals on e-bay.
Aaron said he could donate some magnetic material on a roll for sign making (for cars, etc.). Dean said he had some "sticker-stock" material on a roll that we could print on to make sticker signs.
o Sign-making party ---- Dean said he would look into finding a warehouse where we could have a sign making party.

· Determine new locations & events to promote Ron Paul

We discussed a possible rally at Hot August Nights perhaps Friday Aug 10 in Sparks. More to follow. Also discussed was a booth in the hallway outside the gunshow on Aug 17-19, and a booth at the Sept. Crossroads of the West gunshow.

· Discuss possible visit to Reno by Ron Paul

o Make initial preparations and assignments ---- As it is not a total certainty that RP will be at the UNR debate on Aug 20, we need to be ready if it does transpire. Please keep August 18, 19, & 20 free if possible. We may not have much time to prepare for his visit, and we will have A LOT to do!

· Announcements regarding our website and e-mail list

o Transfer general discussion messages to a forum
§ (save list for local announcements, etc)-- Our forum should soon be operational. When it is, it will be used for all kinds of discussions, news, and info. The Meetup mailing list should now be used ONLY for local alerts, news and minimal discussion. The meetup list is not to be used for mass e-mail, general mass-forwarded e-mails, and such. These messages will be discouraged, and eventually blocked, if needed. The meetup list needs to be saved for more important things. Thank you.

o Nevada4RonPaul.com e-mail aliases-- With the upgrade of our servers (for our website) email aliases are now available. Please send me your current e-mail address, and your desired email name (ex: yourname@Nevada4RonPaul.com), and I will try to get that going. More to follow.
