And don't forget the recent acquittal of the Louisiana attorney Tommy Cryer on failing to file tax returns !!! You gotta ask yourself "Well then why wouldn't the SAME ABSENCE OF THE SAME LAW free Ed & Elaine Brown ? Because they are MILLIONAIRES and the gov't wants to jail them, fine them real high and seize and auction their very nice estate !!!!! Homeland Security Terrorizes Brown Concert Goers


Approximately 200 people attended the free concert at Ed and Elaine Brown's home in Plainfield NH this Saturday to support the couple who have both been convicted of federal income tax evasion. The conviction is a fraud because there is no law that requires an individual to pay a tax on their labor. The Brown's are refusing to turn themselves in because the conviction is based on a non-crime. Recently a Louisiana attorney was acquitted of a similar non-crime because the government failed to identify a law that required the man to file an income tax return . Despite being a peaceful gathering, concert goers were continually terrorized by a Department of Homeland Security helicopter that circled the property throughout the entire day. Even into the night, the helicopter continued to fly around the property shining a spotlight on concert goers and into the surrounding woods in an obvious attempt to intimidate the Brown's and peaceful visitors.

The concert was primarily organized by the We The People Radio Network with Jack Blood a radio show host with the Genesis Communications Network serving as MC. The concert organizers discovered that the helicopter circling above the Brown's property was a Department of Homeland Security asset after researching the identifiable letters and numbers that were painted on the helicopter. Jack Blood announced the news to the crowd in between some of the musical acts which was amusing to everyone in attendance. Amazingly, the local police had no idea what agency was responsible for the helicopter circling the property until the concert organizers informed them.

The actions of the helicopter pilot were dangerous at times as they would fly very low to the ground over the concert goers. During the low fly bys the helicopter would fly only 200 to 250 feet above the concert goers. The actions of the pilot were irresponsible and unnecessary especially considering that there were families with children there.

Besides the on-going air show provided by the Department of Homeland Security, local police officers remained outside the Brown's property stating that they were making sure that concert goers didn't block any of the road. Other than that, the police presence was very light outside the property. The concert organizers even brought out hamburgers for the police officers.

All of the fear mongering from the government and establishment media about the so-called Brown fortress and this potentially dangerous gathering were entirely unfounded. The Brown's have a very nice home and all of the people who attended the event were very friendly and considerate. It is no wonder why the Brown's decided to bar establishment media journalists from their property because most of what they write is misleading and biased towards the government's point of view.

The big question is why the Department of Homeland Security an agency that we have been told is primarily tasked to stop terrorism was assigned to endlessly terrorize people attending this peaceful gathering. Either they think the people who attended this event are terrorists or the main mission of the Department of Homeland Security is not to protect U.S. citizens from terrorism but instead to enslave the domestic population. The Patriot Act redefined what a domestic terrorist is and has been abused on several occasions. The Patriot Act has been used to harass a toy store owner, prosecute petty crimes and even threaten a photographer taking pictures of Dick Cheney. It is certainly possible that the government views many American citizens as terrorists including the people who attended this gathering at the Brown's home.

Judging from this event, it is clear that the Department of Homeland Security and the government are the real terrorists. There was absolutely no reason for them to have a helicopter circle the property for hours on end. Ed and Elaine Brown have been convicted of a law that doesn't exist and the gathering was entirely peaceful. Is the government prepared to kill people for refusing to follow a law that doesn't exist? Let's hope not.

Call Congress Today for Impeachment

We've reached the impeachment moment for Vice President Dick Cheney. We've pushed the cosponsor list for H. Res. 333 up to 14. Chairman John Conyers says that if we get 3 more he'll begin the impeachment proceedings.

And many Congress Members must be recognizing that there is no other path available. Cheney and Bush have repeatedly refused to comply with subpoenas, ordered former staffers not to comply, and announced that the Justice Department will not enforce contempt citations from Congress. When a special prosecutor attempted to hold this administration accountable, Cheney's chief of staff obstructed justice, and Cheney persuaded Bush to commute his sentence. There is no course left for Congress but Impeachment.

On Monday, July 23rd, the fifth anniversary of the meeting that produced the Downing Street Minutes, Cindy Sheehan, Ray McGovern, Rev. Lennox Yearwood, Ann Wright, Debra Sweet, Dave Lindorff, David Swanson, Jodie Evans, Medea Benjamin, Kevin Zeese, and Tina Richards will lead a march to Chairman Conyers office and not leave until he agrees to begin impeachment proceedings.

If you cannot be there, you can take two minutes on Monday and do two things: phone Chairman Conyers at 202-225-5126 and ask him to start the impeachment of Dick Cheney; and phone your own Congress Member at 202-224-3121 and ask them to immediately call Conyers' office to express their support for impeachment. Your Congress Member might be one of the three needed, not just to keep impeachment activists out of jail but to keep this nation from devolving into dictatorship.

I would suggest you contact Ron Paul headquarters and ask them to answer your specific questions so you can receive an accurate answer to spread the word with accuracy.

I no longer second guess the good doctors extreme intelligence, I have all the faith in his ability to save this nation. I work for him seven days a week in helping him get elected and have people donate to his campaign. Did you know that Dr Ron Paul's IQ is 20 to 30 points higher than any other candidate in either party and non of them knows history like he does. Think about this: when Dr Paul runs in the general election, in his debates he will bury any one in the opposite party.

Bush Outlaws All War Protest In United States

In one of his most chilling moves to date against his own citizens, the
American War Leader has issued a sweeping order this week outlawing all
forms of protest against the Iraq war.

President Bush enacted into US law an 'Executive Order' on July 17th titled
"Blocking Property of Certain Persons Who Threaten Stabilization Efforts in
Iraq", and which says:

"By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws
of the United States of America, including the International Emergency
Economic Powers Act, as amended (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.)(IEEPA), the
National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.)(NEA), and section 301 of
title 3, United States Code,

I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, find that, due
to the unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign
policy of the United States posed by acts of violence threatening the peace
and stability of Iraq and undermining efforts to promote economic
reconstruction and political reform in Iraq and to provide humanitarian
assistance to the Iraqi people, it is in the interests of the United States
to take additional steps with respect to the national emergency declared in
Executive Order 13303 of May 22, 2003, and expanded in Executive Order 13315
of August 28, 2003, and relied upon for additional steps taken in Executive
Order 13350 of July 29, 2004, and Executive Order 13364 of November 29,
2004."

According to Russian legal experts, the greatest concern to the American
people are the underlying provisions of this new law, and which, they state,
are written 'so broadly' as to outlaw all forms of protest against the war.
These provisions state:

"(ii) to have materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial,
material, logistical, or technical support for, or goods or services in
support of, such an act or acts of violence or any person whose property and
interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order; or

(b) The prohibitions in subsection (a) of this section include, but are not
limited to, (i) the making of any contribution or provision of funds, goods,
or services by, to, or for the benefit of any person whose property and
interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order, and (ii) the
receipt of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services from
any such person.

(c) the term "United States person" means any United States citizen,
permanent resident alien, entity organized under the laws of the United
States or any jurisdiction within the United States (including foreign
branches), or any person in the United States.

All agencies of the United States Government are hereby directed to take all
appropriate measures within their authority to carry out the provisions of
this order and, where appropriate, to advise the Secretary of the Treasury
in a timely manner of the measures taken."

To the subsection of this new US law, according to these legal experts, that
says "...the making of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or
services by, to, or for the benefit...", the insertion of the word
'services' has broad, and catastrophic, consequences for the American people
in that any act deemed by their government to be against the Iraqi war is,
in fact, supporting the 'enemy' and therefore threatens the 'stabilization
of Iraq'.

In an even greater affront to the American people are the provisions of a
law called The Patriot Act, and that should they run afoul of this new law
they are forbidden to allow anyone to know about it, and as we can read as
reported by the Seattle Times News Service:

"The [Patriot] act also expands the use of National Security Letters, which
are a kind of warrant that the Justice Department writes for itself,
authorizing its agents to seize such things as records of money movements,
telephone calls and Internet visits. Recipients of a National Security
Letter are not allowed to tell anyone about them, and so cannot contest
them."

It is interesting to note, too, that this is not the first time that the
United States has unleashed the brutal power of their government against its
citizens to further their war aims and stifle domestic dissent, as during
the European conflict of World War I they enacted a law called The Sedition
Act of 1918 and which "...forbade Americans to use "disloyal, profane,
scurrilous, or abusive language" about the United States government, flag,
or armed forces during war."

It is curious to note that after the enactment of this new law there has
been no protest by any of the other political leaders in the United States,
with the exception of the only Muslim member of the United States Congress,
Minnesota Democrat Keith Ellison, and who compared President Bush to the
Nazi War Leader Adolph Hitler by stating the attacks upon the World Trade
Center could be likened to the burning of the Reichstag.

Today, as the United States faces an imminent economic collapse, while at
the same time its war bill has reached the staggering amount of $648
billion, one of the last freedoms the American people have had to protest
their leaders actions against them, and other peoples in the World, has now
been taken away from them, the freedom to speak and write in opposition to
what is being done to them.

"If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what
they do not want to hear.", said the great British writer George Orwell,
but, and sadly, liberty has been lost to the once free people of the United
States who are no longer allowed to tell their leaders, or each other, what
they don't want to hear.

With this being so, the American people should, likewise, contemplate their
'new' future, and as, also, stated best by George Orwell, "If you want a
vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever."

Exposing the True Isolationists

Last week, I wrote about the ideology of globalism and how it underlies certain government policies. Managed trade agreements, international military adventurism, and amnesty for illegal immigrants all emanate from this ideology.

Yet globalism has a consequence that is, if we are to believe the rhetoric of its greatest proponents, entirely unintended. Globalists often label those of us who resist their schemes as ?isolationist.? Yet it is, somewhat remarkably, the globalists themselves who promote policies that isolate our nation from the rest of the world.

In terms of modern politics, isolationism is not so much an approach to American foreign policy as it is the result of the policies enacted by proponents of globalism. From offensive statements about ?Old Europe? (as differentiated from ?New Europe?), necessitated by the desire to justify a military presence in Iraq, to conflicts at the WTO, the flowery rhetoric of the neo-conservatives often takes vicious turns when unrealistic policies meet with reality.

In their hopes to remake the world in their image, the globalist elite who run much of America?s policy-making apparatus simply further isolate our country from the rest of the world. By claiming a moral superiority that is so evidently absent when the effects of their policies are witnessed, neo-conservatives have made America seem hypocritical to many abroad.

America is now held in low esteem in many nations, not because we follow our own interests, but because the elites make claims that are not reflected in reality. They have, for example, undertaken economic sanctions in an entirely new way in recent years. When they wanted to take aim at Iraq and Iran, they imposed sanctions against those countries, but also against countries doing business with those countries. This meant we were in no position to negotiate with our adversaries, and we also could not rely on support from our allies.

Yet this globalism often bumps into itself, because of our second party sanctions against Iran, our international commitments to the space station, for example, were put into jeopardy. Also consider the fiasco that happened as a result of sanctions on Iraq. Thousands of Iraqi children starved to death, causing (according to the 9/11 commission report) great resentment against America, yet some managed trade was allowed to continue, managed of course by the globalists in the UN oil for food program. This program resulted in yet another UN scandal.

Despite the protestations of the neo-conservatives, this UN program is not the only example of personal enrichment that comes to the mind of those who doubt America?s authenticity due to these policies. Does anybody remember Richard Perle?s resignation from the defense policy board?

To reset the debate in a way that reflects reality, it is important for us to reject the idea that the choice is between globalism and isolation. Instead we must stand firm for national sovereignty, constitutional republicanism and international cooperation. We should realize that America?s current isolation is simply a consequence of globalism gone awry.

This is the kind of people that is in our group. It is such a pleasure to be around them.

Ron Paul SPAMmers Spam local Charity With a Wall of Food
While Ron Paul visited Spartanburg South Carolina to deliver a one-hour plus speech to potential voters, his supporters were taking a little action of their own. Over and over it has been said that all of Ron Paul's supporters are not real people but simply a few spammers because no news station can quite understand that the man generally draws interest in his stances on non-interventionism, limited government, and a return to liberties that have been lost over the last administration.
Instead of heralding this man of principle and picking up on the overwhelming thirst Americans seem to have for Ron Paul's message, the mainstream media instead pretends it is not real. When Ron Paul takes a commanding lead in a debate poll, the media giants claim that he must have only a few supporters who are "spamming" the polls. When he comes out ahead on Internet polls, pollsters take his name off the list of choices because they accuse his supporters of "skewing" their numbers (by somehow refusing to cooperate and let the shows reflect the pollsters opinions rather than the people's.)
By now most Ron Paul supporters have grown a pretty thick skin and are used to being called spammers. This weekend, instead of griping about the usual unfair media treatment, a group of these "fictitious" persons decided to use the unflattering moniker to help a group of needy children. In a move as generous and kind as Ron Paul himself, these "non-existing" supporters decided to not only attend the Spartanburg rally, but to bring a present for a local charity as well: SPAM. These "non-entities" managed in one and half days, to put a large food drive together, gathered all of the funds for the event, and found several kind supporters willing to drive the trucks and bring in the food in Ron Paul's honor.
They arrived in multiple waves on Saturday morning until noon, 7/21/07, with their generous donation for the Spartanburg Children's Shelter. The name and address for the shelter was also posted for supporters who wanted to give money directly to the charity. By noon, several supporters were there to help stack the food into a 3 foot high by 8 foot long wall of cans and boxes (only a few cans were actually Spam, the supporters felt that variety was better for the health of the children. No offense meant to the Spam company.) By the time all of the trucks had arrived sporting food, crayons and coloring books, the Spartanburg Children's Shelter had experienced some of their own shock and awe. The volunteers, as some report, had tears in their own eyes as they gave the goodies away.
When you stop to think about it, this was an amazing thing to do in only a few days. The idea was first sprouted at 10:55pm on 7/18/2007. The idea was kicked around and at 3:33am on 7/19/07 the first donations began rolling in. By 7/21/2007, the Spartanburg Children's Shelter had a ton of food in their pantry. These are grassroots supporters of Ron Paul, not paid volunteers. They had no input or help from the official Ron Paul campaign. In fact, since Ron Paul has outgrown his headquarters, the Ron Paul headquarters were closed while they were moving to their new site, and there was no possibility of contacting anyone from the campaign to let them know this was happening. Nevertheless, these supporters carried on.
People from all over the country donated $5, $10, $20, or more to the cause and very shortly they had over $500 dollars donated, but they had less than a day to drive to Spartanburg, purchase the food, meet up at the Charity and give the food away. The loyal supporters (who supposedly do not exist) called ahead and rushed to a supermarket and purchased food and toys for the shelter with four pickups to carry all of the loot and donate it to the shelter.
This is the kind of spirit that Ron Paul invokes in his supporters or rather this is the kind of person who believes in Ron Paul's message. They are honest to goodness real people who truly support Dr. Paul and his message of live and liberty and freedom for all. This includes taking care of the needy, not with other people's money, but with their own hard earned cash, to help people worse off than them. This was a group of regular Ron Paul supporters who decided to let their presence be known by donating and volunteering to a children's shelter. So now the media can add to their list accusations of Ron Paul supporters that they spam polls, spam the Internet, and even SPAM a children's shelter.

ACTION ITEM,

The NRSC (National Republican Senatorial Committee) has mailed (snail mail) a Presidential Preference Poll out. Ron Paul is not included.

This poll includes Gilmore (dropped out), Fred Thompson (hasn't announced), Newt Gingrich (hasn't announced), Chuck Hagel (hasn't announced), John McCain (less money on hand than Ron Paul), Brownback, Tommy Thompson, and Duncan Hunter (these last 3 combined have raised less than Dr. Paul).

Disagreeing with Ron Paul is one thing -- banning him is quite another.

PLEASE TAKE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS IMMEDIATELY.
