I think is sends a very bad message to the RP volunteer nation that the campaign has not prioritized having someone here on a regular basis to communicate with us.
I originally asked for the candidate himself to occasionally make a cameo appearance here, and that was nixed--though I still think the general that is seen with his troops gets the best fight out of them. I think it is becoming unconscionable that no one else from the campaign is here to communicate with us once in awhile. We aren't asking for much--just to know that urgent questions can be answered fairly quickly for all to see. Surely, at least a voluteer could liason here for us? |

Most of the message boards turn into debate societies. Then national campaign if they are serious and I believe they are don't have time for that. Some of these threads were started to convey information from the national campaign and have turned into debates over various issues. In fact there are too many forums and RP supporter spend to much time on the internet and not enough time talking to the common voters in public.

I think they are very busy right now, However I've found Justine prompt in responding to the couple of emails that I've sent to her email addy. Recently, one of our meetup group noticed a couple typos in the pdf. flyers on the website... he emailed me and I forwarded it to her. I had a response back from her by the end of the day thanking me for the notice and then asking if I or someone else could fix it and email the changes back to her. She said the person that originally made the flyer file was no longer available..
I've emailed the meetup volunteer that found it to ask if he was able to fix it but I haven't heard back from him yet. Maybe someone on here can do it. I think there were two errors, one in each of the downloadable flyers. |

There are some great ideas posted on this page. We will move forward with or without HQ's approval or help. We are all moving the campaign forward ourselves. HQ has clearly stated they are unable to specifically direct us. We are making plans to move forward on setting up websites for each group. A web campaign should have their own website.

In some posts, people were saying we don't need HQ to direct our grassroots campaign, we can do it ourselves.
There are a lot of things we can do ourselves. That's true. But, I would just like to point out some things we could use direction on from HQ.
I hope this feedback is clear as to what the grassroots effort can do and what kind of guidance we could use from HQ. |

The campaign doesn't want to get bombarded by everyone, they'll respond to our meetup issues if we consolidate the communication with one or just a few people. In terms of setting goals, no goal is too high, so you register as many people as possible to vote, gather as many meetup members as possible, etc. More is better!

http://ronpaul4presid... will be adding a volunteer phone bank tool within a couple days.
If you are interested in helping call people to tell them about Ron Paul, please sign up at the site so we can notify you when it is ready. Thanks. Kurt |

Greetings All,
I've only attended one meeting and have no ties to anyone in the campaign. Lots of activisim and serious commitment evident in this one thread from individuals that I'm sure have already done more than I will be able to for Ron Paul. If anyone bothers to look at the other cadidate sites they have nothing to compare to what is going on here. All I've got to say is that I won't be calling national headquarters for any reason except to donate money. I don't know when the next date is for the presidential campaigns to report their contributions and expenditures, but damn all if the best thing we can do for ourselves and Ron Paul is to pay for his campaign. Money is the one thing that no one in the media will be able to ignore. I have only put up $25 so far but I challenge eveyone that is part of the Ron Paul Meetup Groups to do the same. We've all got our reasons for not being able to donate more, I'm working on mine myself. But simple fact is that enough money will elect Ron Paul President, not the internet. William C Colley |

I'll second what Mr. Colley says. But would add that I don't think money OR the Internet will win this election. Only people vote. We go out and win people to our cause, and we're going right to the top, baby!
