Thanks Paul and Bob.

I'm sure I'll find some answers on those last few in due time.

I believe the media will start spitting out any controversial votes one at a time as he gains support. I want to be ready to argue his side of the story.

Hi Robert,

I'll send you what I have if you'll email me from here. My list is too long to put here. I can offer server space for your templates, too.

A little fund-raising guidance?

All,
What type of fund-raising activities are you folks using? Eastern Iowa could use some suggestions in this area.
Thanks!

Hey Justine,

During that first conference call I know we talked about the new website having state-by-state linkups to all the meetup groups.

Is that still in the works?

Thanks!smile

re: Request for Feedback

Justine,
Several supporters have identified a need for a state specific, information clearing house Website to include voter eligibility and registration, ballot access and delegate selection process information (from a precinct and local GOP involvement level) to aid Meet Up organizers, Meet Up members and other supporters in their local efforts. As it currently stands, each Meet Up organizer (and other members) is charged with individually researching and obtaining the exact same information for their state.

A clearinghouse site would save valuable time by helping reduce the duplicity of information gathering efforts by individual organizers and supporters, and will improve the integrity of information by reducing information sources as well as help decrease the interpretation variance of the information (as occurs when there are multiple info sources).

There are several supporters who are ready to take action - including creating the Website; however, since the information gathering aspect is so tedious and time consuming, we want to ensure we are not duplicating efforts of the Meet Up organizer groups or even at the national campaign level. If similar projects (or portions of what I have addressed) are already in development, we would like to consolidate, rather than duplicate, efforts to help get the information published ASAP.

Are you aware of any similar projects in progress within the Meet Up organizer group or from HQ (specifically from HQ with regards to a ballot access and petition launch)?

Thanks for your time. Please feel free to contact me through the messaging of this site, and I will provide contact information for further discussion if you so desire.

Justine,

Your last post here was on May 28th.

I know you all are very busy, but it occurs to me that the campaign's internet manager should be freed up to at least check in with the official campaign message boards more than once a month...

Cheers.smile

I think Justine is getting overworked, she's got tens of thousands of online activists to coordinate, 300 group organizers all asking her for help, etc. I think the campaign needs to hire at least an assistant internet organizer.

Justine,

After a bit of feedback from Nathan; we have decided to proceed. I will attempt to contact the national office to have a discussion about ballot access (attempts which have been quite unsuccessful to date); however, if you are aware of efforts from national regarding ballot access initiatives, please let me know ASAP.

If you run across others who are interested in involvement or who are currently in the process of gathering the aforementioned information, we would appreciate a quick contact so we can consolidate resources.

I am now taking this work and further discussion to the RP Volunteer Network forum so we can work a bit more efficiently. I can be contacted there as well.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Dena Turner
