Summary: The Texas GOP is charging $50 per ticket and only allowing people to vote in the upcoming Texas Straw Poll who were delegates and voted in Texas in previous years. Thus excluding the typical Ron Paul supporter.
Action: Call Texas delegates and share with them why Ron Paul is our country's best hope for America. This time, no Excel. Back to a log in for the Advokit system (a big improvement). Robert Morrow in Austin, TX writes: "Ron Paul supporters, Please email Chuck Young at ccy@earthlink.net with your 1) First and last name 2) City you live in 3) your email address. Ron Paul could WIN the Texas Republican Straw Poll in Fort Worth. But first he needs a little bit of your HELP. The #1 thing you can do right now is to help us make 17,000 phone calls within one week to all the Texas Republican delegates whose phone number we have. It is critically important that we do voter identification with these delegates to find out 1) who supports Ron Paul and 2) who is undecided. We need to do this NOW in order to get these folks to Fort Worth, possibly on buses from around the state. Please recruit yourself and friends to help us do this job! In order to make phone calls, please email your 1) First and last Name 2) City you are from and 3) Email address to Chuck Young at ccy@earthlink.net Chuck's is organizing our Ron Paul phone effort and Chuck's phone number is 512-448-7898. Also you can call Robert Morrow at 512-306-1510. Only after you have sent Chuck your relevant info will he send you your username and password so that you can get started on the Advokit system to help us blast through these 17,000 phone numbers of Texas Republican delegates. Here is the Advokit page: http://ronpaulaustin.... http://ronpaulaustin.... Secondly, we are sending an alert to Ron Paul nation that we will need their campaigning help at the Texas Straw Poll, which is in Fort Worth Friday, August 31st and Saturday, Sept. 1st. We hope to have a party for Ron Paul at 8:30 PM at the Renaissance Hotel (although this has not been confirmed yet!). We will need as many Ron Paul supporters as possible in Fort Worth to 1) put Ron Paul stickers on our delegates 2) pass out push cards 3) hold up Ron Paul signs 4) campaign with delegates and 5) have a great time. Thanks for your help. The great thing about working with Ron Paul volunteers is how passionate and dedicated they are about Dr. Paul's message of liberty and the man himself. Now let's prove it again with a big push for Ron Paul in the Texas Straw Poll. And right now we need people to make PHONE CALLS to Republican delegates. Have a great day! |

This thread will contain action alerts from the Presidential Campaign staff as well as from other Meetup Organizers. Hi Justine, Just a quick note that our website Action For Justice is always available for "Action Alerts" that you may seem fit. We are waiting on a reply from the Organizers regarding the following: Dear Dr. Ron Paul, I have have corresponded and spoken with Dick Mills a couple of times now, and my wife and I would like to Spearhead your RON PAUL FRIENDS USA for Latino Americans, and try to get their support for your campaign. We are both bilingual English/Spanish and feel the vote from Spanish speaking/Latino Americans is very important. We feel that Laws must be obeyed and specifically regarding inmigration, it must be legal and controlled at all times. This has arrived to our organization Action For Justice (AFJ) due to the fact 4 million US children from non documented immigrants have been left behind and something must be done. We feel that the correct Laws must be passed to have those parents documented and reunited with their children in the USA as soon as possible. These parents must prove that they work legally in the USA, do not have a criminal background, and will continue to respect the Law at all times. This will permit us to present this position to Latino Americans via Action4Justice, and make them understand that the USA is above all Law abiding, does not discriminate, and is still a country of opportunity for All as long as the Law is obeyed. We await your reply, Ed Vallejo Member eev@pacbell.net www.action4justice.com |

We need to get the word out to everyone in New Hampshire and New York, that their deadline to register as a Republican to vote for Ron Paul has been moved up to October 12th.
I was thinking we could try to post it every news blog for these states we can find, but we need to not be annoying about it and tick people off. It would be great if we see an issue to relates to Ron Paul, to mention Ron Paul's stance and how people can benefit from his policies. http://www.primarilyp... I need 1 person from each RP group to assist, requirement a computer and the Net ...
Learning curve 15-30mins Please read this first and get comfortable with the MS maneuvering method with no pics, the file name Enlighten MS_cand @ http://ronpaul.meetup... Once you comfortable will the method above we will coordinate with this Excel at the bottom of this page. We will say hello to Hill?s friends first and get as many switchers as possible. We have almost 1000 RP groups. we can do 1000 pages in no time... and eventually 1000?s pages. Once most of the page #?s are done, the Excel document RP_Group_Number_H will be refreshed. Then we will start over again. This should be a great equalizer during crunch time or if rules happen to change out of thin air. Excel File RP_Group_Number_H @ http://ronpaul.meetup... Pick your spot, check your local laws, grab your signs and join us on Dec 16th. Be sure to send me an email that your group is planning on participating. I would love to chart the participation! Just imagine...a freeway blog in every city...on the same day! Join The rEVOLution! If you have any questions, drop me an email. Jim Neuner uppeyog (at) gmail (dot) com "The liberties of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring a mark of everlasting infamy on the present generation ? enlightened as it is ? if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of designing men." -Samuel Adams |

To all Ron Paul supporters I am contacting you on behalf of a project to help put him into the White House:
I am a member of ?The Wash D C Jan 20, 2009 Inaugural Ron Paul Meetup?. I believe this meetup will create the best central group for all of the Ron Paul Meetups. It is imperative that every single Ron Paul supporter becomes a member of this central group, to allow us to spread our ideas, ultimately allowing all of our voices to be heard. We all have the same goal, to put Dr. Ron Paul in the White House. I have laid out the general idea of the ?We the People? Project, but I do not have the resources alone to carry it on by myself. This is why I hope to inspire others to take action. I have heard about the door-to-door campaign, which will commence in every state right after the ?tea party?. This is a great opportunity for the project to get started with ?the people;? however, I need your help! We can succeed with strength in numbers! It is evident that all of us come from different backgrounds, meaning that we all have different talents and recourses. Let us put them all together for the same goal we share. "We the People" Project ...will no longer sit back quietly while our nation strays off path. The Purpose: -To ?impose? the constitution on our elected officials. -To educate the masses. -To put control of the country back to ?the people? not a select few. The Project should include: -A website by the name of Central Intelligence of ?We the People? (CIWP): -Useful for spreading ?uncovered news? from our own cameras on the ground. -Unbiased, truthful, non-sponsored, referenced, facts. -Constantly updated and checked. -The peoples? government watchdog, to keep tallies on elected officials. -A central database of elected officials by State and in Central Government. -History of voting records kept up to date. -A means of easily contacting officials. -Which lobbyist groups they ?sympathize? with. -A database of lobbyist groups (or to at least include links). -Petition with signatures from ?the people? in the real world (not the internet). -Sent to their elected officials to obey the Constitution. -To express if not followed, their jobs will be on the line! -To show power by numbers, we will side with the constitution every time! -Stating we have loyalty to the constitution over parties. -Regardless if they support Dr. Paul or not, everyone should support this idea. By all means this project needs work, but I still consider it a great idea. I have faith in the goodness of people, who can help make this project a reality. With determination, we can save this great nation. I am currently contacting all of the Ron Paul meetup organizers, in hope that they will spread this idea to their members. Thank you for your time and consideration in with helping this project to meet its full potential. Jeffrey Payer Summit, NJ |
