I'm disappointed that today I see the conference was last night. Boy, I wish there was an email to the organizers for those of us that don't get on the board everyday. Now the question is, did anyone archive the conference so that we late-comers can at least watch it?

You should be able to pull the conference call up on archives at

http://www.justin.tv/...

Once I get feedback and suggestions from HQ, I will be posting notes that I took from the meeting that cover the action points.

See my recent post on this very topic. Please respond to it, to bring it back onto Page One of this board.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS FOR IOWA STRAW POLL

Thank you for your help in the Call Iowa & Mail Iowa programs!

This week, we are focusing on organizing our on-the-ground volunteer efforts at the Iowa Straw Poll on Saturday, August 11th.

Please take the time to fill out this survey http://www.surveymonk... which will inform us of the types of volunteering positions you are interested in as well as the time slots you can work. Our team captain(s) will contact you once you provide your contact information.

I hope that you and your group members will be in Iowa and will take part in the Iowa Straw Poll as a volunteer!

Be a part of it!

Dear Ron Paul Supporter:

If you?re coming to the Straw Poll in Ames, Iowa on August 11 and want to help, the Ron Paul Campaign in Iowa could really use you.

This straw poll is critical to Dr. Paul?s long-term success?as it?s the first major test of a candidate?s organization--and we need about 300 volunteers to assist with the event that day (and a little bit the day before and after) from about 6 am ? 8 pm. 40,000 people and about 500 busloads of Iowa Republicans will be descending on the Hilton Coliseum Complex and we need to make a good impression and get as many Iowans (non-Iowans can?t vote) as possible to vote for Dr. Paul.

For each of the different positions below, we will be putting you in touch with a team captain, and he/she will contact you. You will meet with your team captain and become familiar with the grounds and walk thru what you?ll be doing on the day of the Straw Poll during a dress rehearsal.

We will hold the dress rehearsal on *Thursday Aug 9* at 6 pm ? 2 days before the event. This rehearsal will be held at the Ron Paul tent site (#1) at the corner of Lincoln Way & Beach Street; it is at the far NW corner of the Hilton Complex.

Please note you can do more than one (1) job as long as it doesn?t overlap in time with another.

Can you help us by volunteering? If so, please fill out this survey
http://www.surveymonk...

Check the appropriate boxes describing the volunteer opportunity that you?d like to participate in, and the time.

I hope to see you there!

Do we have a Spanish speaking Latino National
Campaign Director yet?

We would be interested.

Dear Dr. Ron Paul,

I have have corresponded and spoken with Dick Mills
a couple of times now, and my wife and I would like to
Spearhead your RON PAUL FRIENDS USA for Latino
Americans, and try to get their support for your campaign.

We are both bilingual English/Spanish and feel the vote
from Spanish speaking/Latino Americans is very important.

We feel that Laws must be obeyed and specifically regarding
inmigration, it must be legal and controlled at all times.

This has arrived to our organization Action For Justice (AFJ)
due to the fact 4 million US children from non documented
immigrants have been left behind and something must be done.

We feel that the correct Laws must be passed to have
those parents documented and reunited with their children
in the USA as soon as possible. These parents must prove that
they work legally in the USA, do not have a criminal background,
and will continue to respect the Law at all times.

This will permit us to present this position to Latino Americans via
Action4Justice, and make them understand that the USA is above all
Law abiding, does not discriminate, and is still a country of opportunity
for All as long as the Law is obeyed.

We await your reply,

Ed Vallejo

Hello all.

I know we have allot of issues on our plate right now. Ideas, web polls, organizing. Well what needs to be put in front of all that as top priority is the Donation Goal on the Ron Paul web page.

It is obvious that this number of 1787 donation's needed by Friday is an important one. Otherwise the campaign staff would not have made it headline the website.

If you have already donated then you must go to other blogs, other meetups, there is allot of international meet ups that we can be contacting for this. Local radio talk show hosts that are partial to Ron Paul etc...

Justine pinned this subject to the top of this message board for a good reason. So please, all the great ideas you may have or articles you see, video's you are working on for you tube need to be put aside until Sat morning. We MUST focus on meeting this goal.

Thank You!! smile
