Justine said "because it's taking way too long to copy & paste your information into a spreadsheet."

Thanks for friending me, Justine, but I still can't send you a private message.

It shouldn't usually be necessary to do much copying and pasting to a spreadsheet. I'm a programmer who's done quite a bit of data scraping and can take little tasks like this of your hands if you want. Would love to hear from you.

Matt,

are you on the tech list? We are working on what you are proposing, but hitting hard limits - like how many organizers/supporters you can contact in a 30 day period if you are not a member of that group. Meetup's refusal to provide e-mail addresses, and deleting them from message archives, etc. There are currently a few scripts in beta, but we think we can scrape and map all Meetup users, organizers and assistant organizers by username and MeetUp ID number and Groups they belong to in order to populate Advokit that way, which also takes care of part of Justine's problem and mine, but is lacking in communication and contact data - so that's what we are trying to work around.

There are a bunch of similar tasks in the queue that require scraping.

Please get in touch and work with us!

Let's work outside meetup.

signup at http://ronpaul4presid... and let's build our own communications system.

There will be a new phone tool available in a few days for supporters to use to call and educate people about Ron Paul.

New email lists will also be up shortly. You can sign up for whichever ones you want, but the important thing is to REGISTER NOW so we can keep you informed.

Justine,

I hope the next conference calls can be regionalized with state (or regional) coordinators talking to activists in their state/region, and where everyone's voice can be heard. We are getting close to that sort of reality/ability, numbers-wise. Let's not lose the grassroots feel here by limiting the number of folks who can respond.

Those of us on dialup in rural areas are going to be really struggling tonight...We matter too.
