Justine, are you aware that Dena Turner of Texas, who has over 20 years of corporate marketing experience, has offered her services to the Texas office, several times, and has not even been contacted?

Hello Justine,

First I want to thank you for all that you are doing. I am sure that all of the 'Ron Paul Meetup Groups' want to know where we can get any information that the campaign HQ wants circulated to our members.

Now I have found this thread and I just want to confirm that this is the preferred link for all of the 'Ron Paul Meetup Groups'.

Your Friend,

Hi Justine,

Sounds good. Thanks for starting a separate thread.

People here are looking for a clearly defined organizational structure to interact with, to lend more structure and cohesiveness to the meetup groups that are forming.

Your staff is in a position right now to organize any "leaders" from the volunteers meetup.com has provided you. These leaders could, in turn, begin organizing across meetup groups so that the strategy wheel doesn't need to be reinvented within every single meetup group.

I am particularly thinking along the lines of posting official branding imagery (along with guidelines for proper usage), and perhaps offering some ready-made, templated press releases and talking/strategy points that may be downloaded for meetup groups to help organize themselves and run their meetings in the most effective way possible. If you are short-staffed for this purpose, you are also in a position to organize meetup.com volunteers to organize this for you.

Perhaps this is already being done and I am not seeing anything posted about it yet (or I am not looking in the right places). In any case, it would be good to confirm if anyone at your end is grabbing the bull by the horns while the bull is kicking.

I'd normally give you a call at your HQ, but I am curious if you are actively checking this thread and responding to posts here.

Next steps?

Thanks,

Bruce

We also need to consider the Facebook groups. We have Ron Paul pages there that are national, regional, and state. I have been directing meetup people in my area to the Ron Paul state page I made on facebook and to the yahoo Ron Paul state page. I think it is much easier to organize on these pages as it is free to do so. Having liaisons between all these groups is a necessity.

Has anybody gotten an e-mail back from, Justine?

I sent my info within an hour of her announcement, and nothing...

Sent two followup emails as well.

I know you are busy, Justine, but I definitely do not want to miss this conference because of some email snafu or something.

TIA!

Got an immediate reply, perhaps she was busy when you sent it.
