Request Congressman Jim Gerlach to co-sponsor H.R. 1207

FREEDOM FIGHTERS - WE ALL NEED TO CONTACT JIM GERLACH A.S.A.P.!

If you aren't already aware, U.S. Congressman Jim Gerlach (PA - 6th district) is on the House Committee on Financial Services, which is the committee to which H.R. 1207 has been referred!

We must act NOW in order to help push this bill out of committee and onto the house floor for a vote! Jim Gerlach can make that happen! But here is how WE can hold his feet to the fire:

1. If you are in Gerlach's congressional district (which you can find out here - http://www.house.gov/..., call each of the 4 offices listed on his contact page and request to speak to Congressman Gerlach. (Even if you're not in his district, call anyway just to overload them!) The secretary will ask to take a message. Then ask the simple question "Why hasn't Congressman Gerlach co-sponsored H.R. 1207 yet?" You may get a run-around answer, but express that you're wondering why the Congressman wouldn't be interested in the integrity of the national monetary system, and that you feel a real audit of the "Federal Reserve" system is absolutely necessary. Before you get off the phone, make sure the person on the other line knows that you are gravely concerned with whether or not Gerlach plans to sponsor H.R. 1207, and that it his decision will definitely affect the way you vote -and speak to your neighbors- in the future!

2. Contact Scott Savett, Gerlach's Montgomery County Outreach Coordinator. Savett has almost daily contact with Gerlach. Call him at the office here - 610.409.2780, and then send him and email here - Scott.Savett@mail.house.gov. Just make sure your email is short and simple (one paragraph). There's no need to go into elaborate details, otherwise it will just get ignored. The point is - just do it!

In addition to calling/faxing/emailing, we ALSO need petitions signed by registered voters in his district (PA-6), so any volunteers to gather signatures will be not only greatly appreciated, but necessary.

Be on the look out for a meetup for hand delivering petitions as a group (volunteers needed!!!)
