Main focus of this meeting will be the upcoming Money Bomb (http://www.teaparty07.com) And what we are to do about the fact that we are no american citizens.

Maybe someone american might attend so we can give him some money that he'll donate to the campaign... (the other option is to give http://teaparty07.com/chipin.htm some money, which won't directly contribute to Pauls effort but to the guy who organizes the Money Bomb initiatives)

Lesson 1: Supporting Ron Paul Abroad

Discussion of how we can best contribute to the Ron Paul Revolution and how we can best spread his message of freedom and liberty over here on this side of the big pond without getting the other side of the pond upset.

It would also be nice to see how we can help to donate to Jonathan and help him with his Ron Paul Meetup fees of 19 euro per month.

other people not connected directly to the meetup group are free (and encouraged) to join us!


We will be discussing:

1. how can we help to best promote ron paul here in The Netherlands (and Europe)?
2. Maybe there are already groups like us formed or forming, can we try to find and meet up with these groups as well?
3. Donations, we have friends and family that live in the states and are citizens. Perhaps we can arrange a way via them. (want to check legality though)
4. Strausboug for the Tea Party
5. Paying ~Ten Euros each to keep our meetup group alive (as Jonathan pays everything on his own right now (19 Dollars a month))
6. Any thing you want to add to the list?, write us!

lets get it done for Ron Paul

Lets get together and maybe even reach agreement of the stuff that needs to be done... there isn't much time left, so lets make an impact!

Leading up to our meeting we can already delegate certain actions or tell about our own experiences (as I told you about handing out flyers at a student party)

an excerpt from the last meeting:

Concerns:
o Military-industrial complex/ its implications for war and peace in terms of foreign policy; the Dutch are eager to find Americans who do not think as George W./ raise awareness about military-industrial complex in the Netherlands (eg. BIS)
o Corporate control over money/media
o Public awareness about these issues
o Means to resolving conflict: is peace the absence of conflict?
o Is government voluntary or involuntary?
o Christian issue (religion); the larger libertarian movement is concerned with non-theism; Ron Paul talking about abortion in terms of religion is objectionable/ important to straighten out- because it is inconsistent with his otherwise philosophical approach

Things to do:
o How to get him elected?
o Best time and means: donate every Friday and particularly November 5 ( thisnovember5th.com)
o Find rich people (in the Netherlands) who want to donate
o Pledge/matching funds
o Meeting before Nov 5th
o For people not familiar with the campaign, look to: utube 'Ron Paul: A new hope'
o Bigger meetup groups!!
o How can we get free merchandise to promote Ron Paul? Jonathon?
o Individual pledges to commit to action: example, each person talks to 10 people about Ron Paul/give them information about Ron Paul
o Discuss what to pass out (business cards / flyers / just talking / etc?)
o Flyer + demonstrate w/ signs, etc.
o Get/ pass out bumper stickers
o Get a newspaper editorial or article published
o ABC Tree House event
o Donating money through Americans
o Create meetup or facebook forum for our group (Ed)
o Continuing the movement if Ron Paul doesn't make it; it's about the ideas, talking to people
