Details

Ron Paul's latest book is brilliantly done. In it, he calls for us to study further and offers a list of 48 books (that's 2 years worth of reading at 2 books/month). Let's get together and start a book discussion group, beginning with his book The Revolution: A Manifesto. We'll be able to establish a pace of reading and share insight with each other.

I'll have questions ready in case we need them to generate discussion, but hopefully, we'll just be able to talk without the need for a leader. Please have the first 3 chapters read and have a few issues from the book that you would like to further discuss. I'll do the same, and will look forward to seeing some fellow supporters of these ideas at 7pm Wednesday at Pick a Cup in Evanston. The location is convenient to the El and the Metra, which I myself will be taking and walking to pick-a-cup. The number there is 847-332-2834. If you can't find us, just call me at (630) 452-7309 or ask one of the servers, who will be able to point you in the right direction. The drum circle will start that evening at 8:30pm, so we will seek to be done by that time.

For those who cannot make this event, but would like to, there will be a sister event in the Loop this Thursday night, at a location convenient to the Metra and the El. For more information, just take a look at the calendar of the Greater Chicago Ron Paul Meetup Group at the left of this page.
