Signature Drive for Allan Stevo - 10th Dist. Congressional Candidate

Our very own Allan Stevo is running against Mark Kirk in the IL 10th district. Allan needs petitions circulated for signatures, and would greatly appreciate your help. Let's give him the support he needs!

Following is a letter from Allan Stevo:

Dear Fellow Paulites,

I have met many of you, but others of us also have not yet met. Therefore, I'd like to just begin by talking about my activities in the RP Revolution. Several years ago, I became enthused by Ron Paul's writings. A few friends and I organized a number of groups in Europe around him after he announced his candidacy for President. The passion that Americans and Europeans alike had for his ideas was inspiring.

In December, I returned home to the US and organized for him, in a number of states over the last four months - Illinois, Texas, New Hampshire, and Nevada being among them. In each of those states I was in contact with the state coordinator of the campaign, or someone working with the state coordinator of the campaign, and I volunteered for the campaign full-time. It has been very time consuming, but as you know, also very fulfilling work. Today, I am seeking to expand the movement locally.

I have begun a campaign for US Congress in the 10th Congressional District of Illinois, on an entirely Ron Paul platform.

We can use this campaign to work together to advance Ron Paul?s message of freedom locally. I will be running, again, entirely on the Ron Paul platform as an independent candidate, and would like your support.

Also, I would like to ask every meetup group in the state, to consider endorsing my campaign and showing support for it through the meetup groups.

This Saturday, May 3rd we are having a petition drive in the district. It is very difficult to get an independent candidate on the ballot in Illinois and I would like to ask for your much needed help with that, and also to ask you to bring a friend. To volunteer, please call me today at (630) 452-7309. Collecting those signatures is currently my number one priority. Only 16,000 signatures stand between us and a great campaign against an entrenched incumbent. We can manage these signatures if we work together on them. Beyond that, I look forward to continuing our work together pushing the ideas of accountable, Constitutional government forward.
