"Few men desire liberty; most men wish only for a just master." Roman Historian Sallust

Liberty is the right to be self determined in your actions as long as you don't infringe on another's equal right to do the same. Liberty comes with responsibility. Liberty does not include a right to deny another's existence simply because you can. Liberty certainly is the opposite of tyranny. Tyranny is the taking control of people or property without the right to do so.

The SDLC is a group of individuals that recognize to some degree that our governments have become destructive to those principles they were established on and wish for a return to at a minimum a very limited government.

We are a home for all Liberty minded people, which gives our members the opportunity to participate in the events of their choosing. Carpe Libertatem- Seize Liberty is our battle cry and that is what we intend to do is Seize Liberty.

What members are saying

Great group. Can't wait to participate in more events and get to know everyone even better. Who knew I could be so enthusiastic and have so much fun with regards to politics?!

Don't go to this meet up if you don't like personal liberty and freedom.

“I am a centrist, but lean toward liberal conservatism. I was invited by Mike Benoit. Some day I will figure out how to upload my photo. I changed my party affiliation from democrat to libertarian, and in a couple of years I will run for government.”
