The United States Constitution was formally enacted March 4th, 1789. This March will be the 218th Anniversary of this Great Document.
The Constitution is the first bulwark of American Freedom. It has been called the greatest work ever struck off by the hand of man. Its sole purpose is to limit both the size and power of government by the rule of law. However, over the last one hundred years our government has thrown off the chains of the Constitution; its size and power are no longer defined by law. The welfare state at home, and the warfare state abroad threaten to bankrupt our country and ruin its economy. The dollar is crashing and the middle class is being expunged. Even our national sovereignty is at risk: Without the advice or consent of the People or Congress, president Bush has signed an agreement targeting North American Union for 2010. Who gave the president this authority? Where will America and the U.S. Constitution be then?
Ron Paul: Hope for America
Of those candidates seeking the Republican nomination, only Ron Paul loves and understands the Constitution; he alone talks about returning American government to the size and scope envisioned by the Founders. More than any thing else, restoring the U.S. Constitution is the one thing that makes Ron Paul's candidacy unique! The other candidates will only continue the pattern already set, leading America further down the road to bankruptcy and serfdom to a greedy federal power. They will not even so much as admit there is a plan for North American Union, let alone promise to prevent it. Without Ron Paul and a return to Constitutional government, America will only grow deeper in debt, further at risk, and less free. Our very sovereignty will be lost.
This March 4th, on the anniversary of the United States Constitution, join us in helping preserve liberty by donating to the campaign to secure Ron Paul the Republican nomination for United States president.
