Want to make Friday the 13th one the Senators will remember for a while? Come join us for a sign wave to help Senate Bill 57, the School Transparency Bill, pass as it was ORIGINALLY written! Be at the north and south entrances where they park, by 8am, so they can see that Colorado voters DEMAND to know where OUR money is going! Michelle Fire Eater and I have a bet! We each think the other can't get 50 sign wavers there...and whoever looses has to buy the other lunch. So I'm asking all of you to help ME win! Make signs like: If you can't defend it, don't spend it! Obama wants transparency, so should the CO Dems! SHOW ME THE MONEY! I know how creative y'all can be, and this will hopefully be the last day I ask you to come down to the Capital for this bill. Note! If we can help this bill get passed, as it was originally written, it will show the rest of Colorado's elected officials that we, as VOTERS, are sick and tired of OUR money being spent without US knowing how...in DETAIL! Please come! Have fun! Wave signs! Get on TV! Stuff the Senate gallery! TAKE PART, SHOW YOUR HEART, MAKE A DIFFERENCE! See you there! Bonnie

Please send this out far & wide! Did you know the marketing equation that is used for contacting your Congress? 1 email = 1000 votes 1 phone call or snail mail = 5000 votes Showing up at the Capital = 10,000+ votes! Holy cow! We have been able to triple our showing each time: 1st time 3 people 2nd time 5 people 3rd time 15 people 4th time 43 people there & they were there for the press conference too! If we can triple it again, that would be about 130 people in the gallery! CAN WE DO THAT? That means, as the Senators look up, they are "seeing" 130,000 VOTES! Please be there...I will. 9am...see the full message below for instructions: SB 09-057 Public School Financial Transparency Act will be debated this Friday on the Senate floor.
Senate convenes at 9 AM, go to the 2nd floor Senate Gallery. Your presence does make a difference, usually the gallery only holds a few staffers or lobbyists. Senator Harvey, the prime bill sponsor, Sen. Mike Kopp, co-sponsor, & other pro-transparency Senators will take on anti-transparency legislators & fight to amend this bill back to required compliance. This was the original intent of the bill. Listing actual expenditures online gives us real insight into how our schools are prioritizing spending and the accompanying revenues provide a full picture. Citizens shouldn't have to pay CORA fees to see this. For those who came down this last Tuesday to the press conference, WOW! The Associated Press reporter wanted to know how we got so many people. Telling one friend, who tells another, gets 40+ people coming to a last minute press conference. That's grassroots in fine form! A huge thank you to those of you who called, emailed, testified to the committee and came to the press conference/rally. If you haven't had a chance to call or email the Senate, you have one more day to do that or you can show up Friday. Thanks, Natalie Menten Copy all email addresses to send a single letter to all the Senate members, remember, this is the equivalent of 1000 votes. bob.bacon.senate@sta te.co.us, betty.boyd.senate@st ate.co.us, greg@gregbrophy.net, bill.cadman.senate@s tate.co.us, morgan.carroll.senat e@state.co.us, joyce.foster.senate@ state.co.us, dan.gibbs.senate@sta te.co.us, peter.groff.senate@s tate.co.us, ted.harvey.senate@st ate.co.us, rollie.heath.senate@ state.co.us, mary.hodge.senate@st ate.co.us, senatorhudak@gmail.c om, isgarsenate@frontier .net, moe.keller.senate@st ate.co.us, electkenkester@hotma il.com, keith@keithking.com, mike.kopp.senate@sta te.co.us, kevin@kevinlundberg. com, shawnmitch@aol.com, john.morse.senate@st ate.co.us, joshpenry@gmail.com, scott.renfroe.senate @state.co.us, chris.romer.senate@s tate.co.us, nwden34@yahoo.com, senatorschultheis@gm ail.com, gail.schwartz.senate @state.co.us, brandon.shaffer.sena te@state.co.us, nancyspence@qwest.ne t, abel.tapia.senate@st ate.co.us, lotochtrop@aol.com, jennifer.veiga.senat e@state.co.us, al.white.senate@stat e.co.us, suzanne.williams.sen ate@state.co.us Senator's phone numbers (stance noted by those who have stood up in support), this is the equivalent of 5000 votes! More Details at www.GiveMeLiberty.or g Wednesday, 1/14/09, Denver, Colorado, 7:00PM. Coordinator: David Justice (970)275-4871 justice@gunnison.com . Assistant Brent Hackett ett2@msn.com cell: 303-638-1454. Bob will also be available for a breakfast meeting on 1/15/09 with potential delegate(s) or donor(s). (Please, check inside UPDATE #4 for more information.) We have reserved a block of 10 rooms for $ 89.00. Our cost for the meeting room is $ 350.00, FREE to the public. To the People of Colorado, Bob Schulz is calling for the convening of a Continental Congress. His vision, which I share, is to exercise the unalienable right endowed on all of us by the Creator, a right held by America's Founders to be a self-evident truth, to peaceably assemble, an adjunct of the right to petition for redress of grievance, to the end of addressing significant constitutional violations by government officials, and to discuss the possibility of applicable measures to effect remedy of these violations. This call may well be the People's last chance, their last hope to address the issues, as should we fail we face the likelihood of experiencing the intolerable situation of a fascist police state from which there may be no recovery.
In behalf of Bob and his vision, I implore us all to agree to set aside our fear and doubt, our perspectives and opinions, our biases and differences, and in agreement pray, as one, for the rise and empowerment of America's true leaders, truth-loving and courageous men and women whomever and wherever they may be, to stand and be recognized, to provide a stable, collective voice of truth calling the agents of the government of the United States to honor their Sovereign, the American People, by turning the ship of state away from its destructive course.
You are cordially invited to join us at 7:00 on the evening of Wednesday January 14, 2009, to hear the vision for a Continental Congress and discussion pertaining to a means of enforcing the Constitution against a rogue government.
Hope you can make it! Joby
