Attention Hoboken Ron Paul supporters. I have just been informed that a candidate is emerging in support of limited government here in Hoboken! The candidate is closely linked to the Ron Paul endorsed candidate Steve Lonegan. All supporters of Liberty who are registered voters in Hoboken are invited to drop by and sign the petition to place this candidate on the ballot. We need only 100 signatures by Wednesday at 4pm. Please let me know if you are unable to come Tuesday night but would like to sign the petition. I hope to organize some Campaign for Liberty supporters on Wednesday as well to finish off the petitioning.

Our friends in Jersey City are welcome to come help if you would like to get this candidate on the ballot...

Thanks to all...

Please join me on April 15th on Tax Day to protest the out of control spending both in Washington and here at home. Here is the article in nj.com:

http://www.nj.com/hobokennow/index.ssf/2009/04/the_hoboken_tea_party.html

Chris Carbine, who's running for Hoboken Council-at-large and launched his website over the weekend, has a "Hoboken Tea Party" planned for Wednesday, April 15. Even though, uh, property -- not tea -- taxes jacked up in Hoboken, Carbine says:

"Join me and other concerned citizens on April 15th from 6:00-6:30 p.m. at the Pier A waterfront for the 2009 Hoboken Tea Party. Remember to bring two tea bags -- one to symbolically dump in the Hudson River and one to the Council meeting at City Hall. It is time to make your voice heard."

CAMPAIGN FOR LIBERTY ACTION ALERT: Contact your House representative and let them know you oppose the revised bailout bill.

The fate of the bill now rests in the House of Representatives. This is the time to redouble our efforts and contact our representatives once again.

This is a debate watching party hosted by the Hoboken Republicans. Great opportunity to get to know and interface with local Republicans who are active. For those outside of Hoboken I would suggest any of the other important meetups going on today.

CAMPAIGN FOR LIBERTY ACTION ALERT: Senate to vote on revised bill on Wednesday Night.

The destructive bill shot down this past Monday was a result of the American people. A record number of emails and phone calls was received and is showing that the Campaign For Liberty is REAL CHANGE.

The fight is NOT over!

We must use our same approach to bombard our senators with phone calls tomorrow and ensure that they know we are NOT supporting any bailout at all. If they vote for the bailout we will do everything in our power to remove them from office.

HOW TO ACT

1) Contact the NJ Senators and state the following

“Dear Senator:

You MUST reject the Paulson/Bernanke plan for bailing out and propping up reckless banks at taxpayer expense. This is madness to ask us, the taxpayers, to cover the liabilities of Wall Street. We are tired of being fleeced. If you vote to support this plan, I will do everything in my power to remove you from office before you can give away any more of our money to failed businessmen.

Thank you, ”

2) Find out if your House Representative voted for the bailout

Go to: Bailout Scorecard
http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog/?p=647#more-647

3) Call and thank your representative for voting no, or tell them you do not agree and will not vote for them if they voted yes to the bill.

4) Visit the NEW Campaign For Liberty Website

5) Tell as many people as possible to DO THE SAME!

By The way, the name of the original bailout bill was: BILL TITLE: To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide earnings assistance and tax relief to members of the uniformed services, volunteer firefighters, and Peace Corps volunteers, and for other purposes

enough said.

Howdy Folks. I'm gonna take a stab at it and guess that there is probably no need to describe how monstrous this bailout is to anyone receiving this email.

There is a great need, however, to get this message out to others. That's what we'll be doing Sunday. Very simple concept. We'll meet at noon at The Office (3rd & Washington) and print out the slim jims. Then spread out through Hoboken and hand out the slim jims and talk with people.

In Minneapolis, the Campaign for Liberty leadership stressed the importance of acting locally. As much fun as it is to get together with friends throughout the metro area, we each individually also need to be acting in our own municipalities and take them back precinct by precinct. With mayoral and council elections coming up in May, now is a great time to continue spreading our message.

I can be reached on my cell (201 546 4918) or by e-mail for anyone planning to come. In Liberty,

-Chris

Friends,

Drew Rushford of the New York City Ron Paul meetup group was able to attend the Leadership Institute training in Minneapolis during the Campaign for liberty and held the first meetup after the convention last Tuesday. Armed with marching orders from Ron Paul, they are holding meetups every Tuesday at the Old Bridge Deli in NYC to discuss the details of the Campaign for Liberty's plan for victory.

This is a great opportunity to share knowledge that can be utilized to take back our local offices in Hudson County.

www.campaignforliberty.com

Fellow New Yorkers:

We had a great turn out at the first meeting of what will soon be the official Campaign for Liberty in New York City. I thank everyone who showed up and I am very happy to report that interest in the Campaign is growing!

Every Tuesday at 7:00 PM, we will be meeting at Old Bridge Deli on the southeast corner of Lexington Avenue and East 41st Street to discuss our success in breaching the monolith that is America's current political duopoly.

This group is not for armchair patriots. It is for people who are determined to make of this movement a lasting institution established for the purpose of restoring Constitutional and limited government. Thankfully, the National Campaign for Liberty Staff has rolled out new online tools to aid in this effort.

If you missed last week's meeting all is well. We will be going over Ron Paul's practical, grassroots vision of the Campaign once again and discuss how we as a group will change government on a local level. I hope to see everyone there, especially former precinct leaders!!!

Ron Paul, in his latest video announcement, said that we should have a "grand march" on Washington DC, so we will have one.

It will either be Memorial Day weekend or the Fourth of July weekend, most likely.

This will be the largest Ron Paul or liberty related event for a long time to come, it seems.

ALL NEW DETAILS...

Project: SHILLELAGH

Folks,

This is going to be fun. Coming off the success of our February 29th Money Bomb, we will be marching in the Saint Patrick's Day Parade down in Mount Holly, New Jersey this March 1st.

We already have a bag piper, the Murray Sabrin Van, A Float on which both Murray and Florence will be riding on, and we are expecting ALL OF YOU to show up..

Yes, I said IT, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!!!!!!!!!

Our goal, is to have 1,000 Murray Sabrin Supporters show up at our staging area, and march behind our float. We are looking for people to bear flags (list below), Bring HOME MADE Murray Signs, and we are looking for people to march along with us and hand out buttons and candy to the crowd. Since we cannot throw candy from the vehicle or the float, its vital that we have volunteers show up for this event.

Flags which are allowed to be displayed:

American
Spirit of '76 (Betsy Ross) American
Irish Flag
POW-MIA Flag
Gadsden Flag (Don't Tread on Me)
State of New Jersey Flag

The more flags the murray-er....

I REALLY DO NEED AN AMERICAN FLAG AND AN IRISH FLAG UP FRONT NEAR THE BAG PIPER.. THIS IS VITAL!

Don't Have a Flag? NO PROBLEM...

Make a MURRAY SABRIN For U.S. Senate Sign to bring with you and wave as we march along the 1 mile parade route.... Since we do not have our professional made signs yet, I ask that everyone makes atleast one, preferrably two so someone else may have one if they don't.

Candy, Buttons and Literature will be provided for those who wish to walk along the sides of the boulevard and distribute such items to the crowd.

THIS EVENT IS FREE, SO THERES NO REASON YOU SHOULDN'T BE ATTENDING.

On the day of the event, We will gather everyone together and briefly go over some parade rules and etiquette. They are simple enough and my experience working with most of you guys in the past has shown that we are very smart and mature about how we handle and present ourselves. I am not really worried about this.

Code of dress. There is no dress code however please do not show up looking like a slob. Of course we encourage those who wish to wear costume (Statue of Liberty, Colonial Period Costume, anything Saint Patrick's Day, you get the idea).

Details...

10:00AM: Our crowd assembles at the Fairgrounds Plaza, 513 High Street (Corner of Ridgeley Street), Mount Holly, New Jersey. Here we will be staged in Parade Order, and will assemble our crowd of people, plus assemble the float. There is plenty of parking around from what I have been told, so there should be no issues in regards to that.

12:30PM: The Parade opening ceremonies will take place on the Parade lead float

1:00PM: Parade Starts, we head south east down High Street towards Washington Street. Once at Washington Street, we make a left turn and head south west down Washington Street a few blocks to the Municipal Parking Lot.

TOTAL LENGTH OF THE PARADE ROUTE IS ABOUT 1 MILE.

At Parade End--- FREE AFTER PARTY!!!, yes thats right, FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the parade we hope that you will join us at the Parade's Official After Party located at Buzz's Tavern. Due to generous sponsors this year's event will be free. We have about ten Irish Bands playing on two stages throughout the day and night including such bands as The Bogside Rogues, Birmingham Six, Bareknuckled Boxers and many more.
