Join us in celebrating a Bicentennial commemoration of the life and legacy of President Abraham Lincoln, the father of the GOP.

This year we will host our annual Lincoln Day celebration on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at the Gaslight Restaurant Bar & Grill from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. RSVP today at www.HobokenRepublicans.com (dinner and drinks $45 in advance and $55 at the door).


Our featured guest speaker is Mr. Ryan Sager, two- time winner of the Felix-Morley Journalism Award and author of "The Elephant in the Room: Evangelicals, Libertarians, and the Battle to Control the Republican Party." Mr. Sager has served as a member of the editorial board of The New York Post and as editorial features editor and chief editorial writer for the New York Sun, where he was a member of the founding staff in 2002. His writings have appeared in numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, Reason, National Review, the Politico, RealClearPolitics and the Atlantic Monthly.
