Hello everyone,

If any of you are precinct leaders and have called people who are undecided, try to bring their addresses and the materials you want to send them. I'm just aiming for the first issue the person gave me, and planning to send them a slimjim, one of Ron Paul's letters on that topic, and my personal letter to them.

I'm providing 20 stamps and a box of 40 long envelopes for the meeting (long to accommodate the slimjims). If anyone else wants to contribute stamps, that's good. So far I have about 10 or 11 people to send letters to. So if you come up with more than 10 people on your list, you'll need to get some stamps. I've got very limited funds, but y'all are welcome to as many envelopes as you want! :)

Again, you'll need to bring your own letters/RP issue letters and the addresses.

If you'd like to use my letter and just change it so it applies to you, feel free! It's in the next post.

Dear

I am writing to you as a neighbor and a concerned American voter. I?m just an average young adult and have never been politically active? until I discovered that Congressman Ron Paul was running for President.

That was exciting for several reasons. I have been dismayed by the way our national sovereignty has been stolen by politicians who revere the UN more than our own Constitution. I have noticed the way liberties such as freedom of speech and freedom from unlawful search and seizure have been eroded by laws like the PATRIOT ACT.

Ron Paul stands for everything the Constitution stands for ? and nothing it doesn?t. He has promised to stop the draconian National ID card, which is already in the legislative pipeline, to crack down on border security, and to strive for a foreign policy that keeps American troops out of nation-building endeavors. His voting record speaks for itself: in his 10 terms as Congressman, he has never voted for an unconstitutional bill.

If you, too, are excited by the prospect of an honest, upstanding President who will follow the Constitution in every decision he makes, please join me in voting for Ron Paul on March 4, 2008. Every vote truly does count.

Sincerely,
