We're planning a big "Weiner Roast Picnic"
Everyone should contact our event coordinator, Julie Gage.
Call Julie at 941-468-2476 or e-mail her at jag-djc@hotmail.com
Volunteers are needed for food and dishes to pass.
The Weather is supposed to be perfect. Daytime highs in the low 80's and nighttime lows in the low 60's.
Parade organizers and the police expect a crowd in excess of 100,000 people to attend one of the biggest lighted boat parades in the U.S.A. This presents a "Golden Opportunity" to reach lots of people with Ron Paul's message all along the Intercoastal Waterway, on the beaches, parks, piers, docks and streets.
The highlight of the Venice Boat Parade will be our own "SS Ron Paul."
This fantastic "ship circled Tampa Bay at the CNN YouTube GOP debate in St. Petersburg" reports the Long Island News.
Dr. Paul was so thrilled with this "nautical Tribute to Liberty" that he took a personal tour after the debate in St. Petersburg. He then went to The Palladium to visit the "1,000 supporters" reports Kathy Kiely of USA Today.
IMPORTANT!!
The Venice Boat Parade is a big event and will be well attended and it is highly suggested that you ARRIVE EARLY! Enjoy the afternoon sunshine and the wiener roast picnic, fellowship with other Ron Paul supporters and see a fantastic boat parade. Don't forget, the drawbridge will be opened for the parade to pass and unless you arrive early, you'll find yourself on the other side!
Things to bring:
Your favorite lawn chair and a blanket to spread out on.
Your favorite dish to pass (Please coordinate withe Julie Gage).
Every Ron Paul sign and every American Flag you own.
All your Ron Paul hats, T-Shirts, Slim Jims etc.
Come see the headline making flagship of the Ron Paul fleet that just took Tampa Bay by storm.
Liberty means being able to have FUN!!!
Ron Paul for Liberty!
