We will be having the next meeting again at Twin Lakes Park Thursday 22 Oct 6 PM (Take Clark Rd east of 75 and take right into park). We will be at the picnic tables under the shelter. The temperatures should be perfect.
I will cook some more dehydrated refried beans and other dehydrated foods if they arrive in the mail in time for anyone hungry. I will also have a show and tell report on making a cache to store vital items in to be buried or hidden for future use. The meeting will be an open meeting after my report. I am working on having a meeting on weapon field stripping and cleaning which will be held at a home and will be very helpful to get to know your gun (if you have one) and how to take it apart and clean it. Also in the works is a meeting where we learn how to can food. I welcome any suggestions for future meetings. Finally if your planning on buying gold it is now at a record high over $1060 an ounce AND CLIMBING!!! Best place I know to buy gold coins is World Coin in Sarasota on Main street which charges 2% above spot price so a 1 oz Krugerrand would cost you $1020 if gold were at $1000 and ounce (there is no sales tax)
