Strategy Session for Delegates and Beyond

I hope everyone had enough time to recharge their batteries. Thanks to everyone who helped to get our delegates on the ballot. We succeeded in getting all of our candidates in the 15th district on the ballot. If you didn?t get to help with the signature drive don?t worry, now you can help us with the campaigning.

Although we would like Dr Paul to win the primary, it?s just a beauty pageant. The real action is with the delegates and this is our chance for success. Please don?t be discouraged by Dr Paul?s results as reported by the media. He has won a lot of delegates and now that the wheels are starting to fall of the ?straight talk express? we?ll have even more of an opportunity at the convention.

I know that many of us were disappointed with the tone of some of the emails that came from the campaign. I won?t lie to you and tell you I wasn't or try to justify the emails. I was very mad and called them to tell them. We have worked too hard and made too many sacrifices (be it time, money or both) to have the campaign give us less than 100% of their effort and that?s exactly what I told them (with some expletives included). I am hoping you will give them one more chance as I am and come back to our meetings.

The purpose of this meeting will be two fold. First we will discuss strategies for getting our delegates elected. Second I would like to discuss a plan for our group going forward. We have grown so big and I would hate to see everyone just fade away. We have a chance now through local activism to make changes, starting here in our district and then spreading all the way up to the White House. One of the things I have learned is that I am not alone in believing in Dr Paul?s message, the size of our group tells me that and I think there are many more out there. We just have to find them and wake them up.

For now I have listed the pizza shop as our meeting place, but hopefully so many of you RSVP ?YES? that I will have to find us a bigger place. So please think about it and come out and join us.
