There is a mock-debate going on in the Encore at the University here in Point.
It will be from 7-9 Monday night and there are going to be representatives of all candidates I believe.
I won't be able to get there until my class is done, hopefully shortly after 7:30, but everyone else is encouraged and welcome to get there at 7.
It might not be a bad idea to take some Ron Paul literature and what not with you. I'm going to take some DVDs and slimjims i still have.
As far as I know, this will not cost anything to get into...

Door to door canvassing during the day, and perhaps later evening canvassing by car. We need to just hit up every house we possibly can. The more people willing to volunteer for this last ditch effort for votes- the more ground we'll be able to cover.

This went really well last week, and hopefully we can get even more people out there this time. We'll run from about 3pm- 5:15pm this time. Dress warm, though. I think I might have been on the verge of frostbite by the time we left, but was too pumped to be out there to notice. Same plan- we'll meet here, and hit the streets together. Those of you who can't show up until later can just join us on the street.

According to congressman Dave Obey, a peer of Ron Paul's, he is "meeting with constituents throughout the 7th District of Wisconsin to give an update on what's been happening on the federal budget, the war, and other issues and to hear comments." At the last Obey "meeting" which I attended in Wausau, this man talked for 50 of the approx. 60 minutes allotted for the event, and then took the two first questions from staged plants who were in the front room, working for him, who had prepared questions. I say we divide and conquer - split up into the audience, each with prepared questions that we develop ahead of time, and hit him with our best shots. Let's show him our generations do care, are informed, and are willing to make things change here in WI, for the better.

I reserved a room at the library again. We will go over info regarding the campaign's 'precint captain' project, and discuss other mass campaigning efforts as we close in on the Feburary 19th deadline. We will also be discussing ways in which each of us can get involved with vote counting efforts in our respective voting districts to ensure an accurate count. I'm sure we'll have campainging materials on hand for those who need them, and will discuss anything else that anyone wants to bring up (like the possible vote fraud that occurred in New Hamshire). Feel free to invite anyone you know who might be interested, and I'll be sure to invite the leadership of the Potage Republican Party when I meet with them tonight to give my little talk about Ron Paul.
