Though completely uninterested in the typical party hackery that goes on between Democrats and Republicans, I'm going in- joining the Portage County Republican Party on Nov. 10th- even though Republicans in Portage County are as enthusiastically received as the Grim Reaper in a Hospice ward. I will be very curious to learn how the rank and file party goers are thinking these days. After a crushing defeat in '08, are they rethinking the Bush policies that effectuated that defeat?
