Hey everyone. This email is going out to all the members of the old Stevens Point Ron Paul Meetup, now renamed the "Stevens Point Campaign For Liberty Meetup Group" to see how many of you are still active here. As many of you know, Chris and I have spent the last 14 months producing a feature length documentary film entitled "For Liberty: How the Ron Paul Revolution Watered the Withered Tree of Liberty". Now that this effort has been completed, I would like to get back into the activism in whatever way possible, and am wondering if any of you feel the same. I have several ideas for going about this, but my ideas alone cannot be nearly as great those of this group.

The Stevens Point Ron Paul Meetup has much to be proud of for it's efforts back in 2007-8: we put up billboards, signs, and banners, ran tv commercials, we distributed thousands of pieces of literature, stumped for Dr. Paul at the Democratic Party Picnic, and did sign waves. Craig and Cory Groshek build snowmen for Ron Paul (too bad snowmen can't vote...), and Nick Dancyk created several quality grassroots signs that went up all over town, and a cartoon that went viral on the internet. Dan Todd nearly lost fingers to frostbite with me as we sat out in the sub-zero Wisconsin weather spray painting signs. And these are just a couple of honorable mentions- just about everyone in this group gave something to be proud of.

So the Meetup is going to continue forward. Ron Paul may no longer be the focus (at least until 2012), but the message of liberty will be. I hope others here will join me.

Been busy with school, but got inspired when they gave the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama. I mocked up this little cartoon and stuffed almost 200 of them in the school papers around campus sunday morning. Given how many papers there were, and how easy it was to stuff them, I wish I'd printed more. I wish I'd be inspired more often, but since you guys are more up on the issues, if you have an idea or issue for a cartoon, I'd do it again:

Haha... I saw that lying around on campus. I didn't know you had done it though, Nick. Nice.
