Let's get together for LBI's best chowder, wings and a couple of cold beverages. Celebrating Congressman John Adler stepping forward to cosponsor HR1207, it took less than a week for Adler to sign up as a cosponsor. He was unfamiliar with HR1207 until C4L members met with him last Saturday!!

Let's share ideas and establish an action plan for getting the other Ocean county Congressman Christopher Smith up to speed on this historic legislation. Bring your appetites and desire to make a difference.

Talk about HR 1207, that government does not create jobs, that government distorts economies, that the federal government upsets local rule, second amendment issues, first amendment issues, fourth amendment issues, debasement of our money, change our foreign policy, end our wars of aggression, end the drug war, support medical marijuana, tenth amendment issues, repeal the 16th amendment, you get the idea.

Each speaker's particular topic has yet to be revealed. The audience should expect to hear dynamic dissertation on topics such as the following:

o political activism

Transportation:
Public transportation is HIGHLY recommended because it's gonna be PACKED (check http://septa.org/maps... ). Whichever train you take, make sure to get off at "Suburban Station". Then come up to the street level and you should see everyone right there at City Hall.

I figure we can try bouncing back and forth between Saint Mary's of the Pines in Manahawkin and Saint Mary's Church in Barnegat for as long as people can hang in..

The starting mass schedules for this Sunday are below, if we can gather 30 minutes after the mass starts we should be in a good position to catch the attention of the church-goers as they leave. Each church has 2 possible exits, both having stop signs. It would be best to have at least 2 people to hand out flyers (1 at each exit) and groups of 3+ to wave signs across from each exit. I have plenty of yard signs for people to wave (and keep if you want), I will also create 2 larger banners with a Catholic specific message something like "Save lives this Tuesday! Vote for Ron Paul the only pro-life candidate who'll stop unjust-wars"

Mass start times (try to get ready 30 minutes after masses start):

Saint Mary's of the Pines (Manahawkin) 7:30, 9:00, 11:30
Saint Mary's Church (Barnegat) 8:00, 10:00, 12:00

Even if you can just make part of this then that would be great, if that is the case then try to let me know your plans so we can try to keep a big enough group throughout the morning.

This event will carry on for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I have about 2800 slim jims remaining.
The plan is to canvas Republicans and Unaffiliated to become aware of Ron Paul, the message and the Feb 5th primary.
