RE:  "over 4,000 brave Americans killed"

As is so often the case, there is a failure to recognize:

* Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis killed.

* One million + Iraqis maimed.

* Four million + Iraqis turned into refugees.

* The infrastructure of Iraq destroyed.

* Iraq transformed from a natural foe of Iran to an ally of Iran

The frequent omission of these sorts of facts in lists of The Smirking
Chimp's list of war crimes conveys the message that the citizens of
Iraq are sub-human, not worthy of thought or mention.  The Americans
killed and maimed, to one degree or another, volunteered to place
themselves at risk.  The Iraqis had no choice.
