Burlington/Graham Ron Paul Meetup Group

The immediate purpose and goal of this Meetup group is to elect Dr. Ron Paul to be President of the United States in 2008. However, the immediate goal is only a small part of a much larger purpose, namely, to re-establish government of, by, and for the People of these united States. Therefore, this group is about education and action. It's about the work of returning limited, constitutional government to America. It's about liberty and justice for all. It's about recovering the political ideas and principles of our Founders - the principles of Life, Liberty and Property granted by our Creator. It's about rejecting the socialist, collectivist, fascist notions of Government as God. It's about opposing the corporate elite who, through financial means, control governmental authority and agencies to legitimize their criminal actions, enforce the status quo, suppress free enterprise, and subvert freedom for all. It's about respecting our individual differences while acknowledging our unalienable rights and responsibilities granted by our Creator. It's about us working together to promote the Common Good. It's about you and me living together in One Nation under God.
