If you could rewind the clock and help Ron Paul run for a local office, would you do it? Well, Elizabeth Allan Hodge is our local Ron Paul. She served for 6 years in the Idaho House (Dist 11 ~ Canyon County). During that time they could have called her Mrs. No because she always votes according to the principals of freedom and the constitution. She truly is our local Ron Paul. Now she needs our help. She has decided to get back into the game. Primaries are coming right up and her District (16) is HUGE. We are very overwhelmed. If we could get 10-20 people we could knock out a big chunk of her district. We might actually run into a few Ron Paul supporters while we are out there and get some write in candidates for PCP (precinct 33 and 56 need someone).

It was said by one of those important founding father types (Jefferson?) that "All politics is LOCAL!" That is so true. Local is where it all beings and where you can actually make an impact.

If this seems scary to you, it isn't that bad. The first door is the hardest. And you will find that people are very kind and open to the information. I had more people thank me last Saturday for coming by than ever thanked me for doing Ron Paul stuff. And there is something to be said about the magic of being OUTSIDE of your COMFORT ZONE! If you are always comfortable, you are not GROWING as a person.
