Special Note: This meetup is primarily for Seminole residents (although I will go even though I live in Orange County). Orange County has its own meetup like this. See calendar.

The time has come for restoration of the Republican party. It's early history borne from abolishing slavery to constraining the size of government has been not only tarnished, but hijacked. Time to reclaim what was stolen from us. This is THE meeting for Republican activists. Most of the time 50 or so people show up. We can easily overwhelm them with an inspiring message.

If you are ready to fight the good fight, come on along. If you would prefer to sit at home and just complain, know that you are wasting your time and ours. That's right. I'm calling everyone out. We call ourselves a rEVOLution, but too many of us are not willing to give even one hour a month to the cause.

Meetings usually run a little over an hour. Dress is very casual. I normally wear a shirt with a collar and slacks. You can come as you are and will NOT be treated rudely. The local party regulars have been favorably impressed by our presence in previous months.

The real goal of attending these meetings is to gain voting status. This happens when you come to 2 successive meetings. Then commit to coming to once a month meetings. Once this happens we can affect real change. If we ever want to return Constitutional government to the USA, I can think of no finer place to start.

Now wouldn't you like to see that on the front page of a newspaper or lead story on the local TV news? We came close to this number a month ago. In fact the picture on our homepage is from that event.

Announcing ORLANDO MEGA MARCH RALLY/WALK FOR RON PAUL. This coming Saturday, October 6 at 10 am, all Ron Paul Patriots from Central Florida are asked to line up along Colonial Avenue commencing at Mills 17/92 to The Fashion Square Mall. We want to blanket Orlando's busiest travel artery with the message of freedom. Dr. Ron Paul (Champion of the Constitution) will be proud.

We are also going to be joined by certain media types. Can't disclose who they are, but please dress appropriately. You might be in pictures, baby! Mums the word, 'till Saturday.

Bring any signs that you may have. Make some up if you like. Keep them ON TOPIC OF RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT! If you're not the creative type, don't worry, we'll have plenty of signs available.

Weather is starting to cool down. Don't miss this opportunity! There is also a strong rumor that George Washington will be in attendance. He's really old you know, and doesn't get out too often;-)

Park your cars in the Fashion Square Mall parking lot nearest Colonial. Please folks, we have a big opportunity here. Media has confirmed they'll cover it. Do what ever you have to do to be there. RSVP to this event ASAP. Contact your friends to come along too. We are completely stocked with literature, bumper stickers, and DVD's. So even people that don't know a lot about RP will come away happy.

Tee-shirts will also be available for a small donation.

Greetings, all my fellow Ron Paul Patriots! Your hard work out on the streets waving signs, on the phone making calls, and in your day to day handing out slim-jims, has not gone un-noticed.

The Ron Paul National Campaign is proud to announce the appointment of Anita Andrews as Field Organizer/Regional Coordinator. Ms. Andrews brings experience managing 30 different campaigns with a win ratio of 92 percent.

Florida Meetup members will have a unique opportunity to receive specialized training by Ms Andrews on Saturday, September 8, 2007 beginning at 9am. This will be an intensive all day event that will help Dr. Paul win the 2008 Republican Nomination.

Heretofore this type of training occurs only at very serious and well funded campaigns for professional workers. In recognition of the outstanding efforts by the Ron Paul Volunteers in Florida, this training will be offered at no charge to participants.

We do ask that you only attend this event if you are serious about working/volunteering on the campaign. Please realize that Ms. Andrews has many states to train. Florida's primary is fast approaching on January 29, 2008. It is imperative that all Florida Ron Paul volunteers sacrifice and make whatever arrangements are necessary to assure their attendance.

Some limited lodging may be available through Orlando volunteers willing to open their homes. Otherwise hotels are available to those needing over night accommodations.

She has just finished training the Chicago/Southern Illinois group. Comments from participants were very favorable. Copied below are some from their event calendar:

Location should be confirmed by Monday, but this event will happen in Orlando September 8th. It is imperative that you respond now and help us get a good head count.

This is a hands on workshop. Coming out of this you will have more ideas and a plan to implement them.

Dress is casual. We will have breaks with snacks, but you will be responsible for lunch.
