There is only one candidate for president that offers a real choice in 2008 ? Dr. Ron Paul. This Meetup group is dedicated to spreading the word about Ron Paul's run for the presidency.
Who should come? Are newcomers welcome?
Anyone who supports Ron Paul and wants to help others learn about him and his perspectives OR anyone who wants to learn more about Ron Paul OR anyone who thinks all the "big name" candidates talked about in the media are unattractive. Newcomers are always welcome.
Why should people come?
Ron Paul will not get media attention, no matter how well he does in the debates! Americans are ready for a change in politics, not merely swapping Republicans for Democrats and getting the same thing, but a real change.
Do attendees need to participate or can they just listen?
Your input is always welcome, but you are free to choose your level of participation.
How will members find you when they get there?
Easy. I'll be the best looking guy in the place. . . duh, but if it helps I'll have a Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Group sign.
