Hey all you crazy Patriots! As of tuesday night we have 15 people RSVP'd for the August 4th ACTION NIGHT. Not bad considering the email went out just today! Please encourage everyone to attend... it will be a meaningful AND fun evening! This email is to let you know that we have added another topic or two for that night. We will also discuss setting up a telephone answering service and asking for volunteers to help people when they call with questions about different aspects of the Tea Party. So to recap... here is our agenda for that night:
1) Stamp money with "taxed enough already" All coordinators attending need to participate as well. The idea is to get the money out there in circulation... a protest... but also advertising for us! At least 100 $1 dollar bills.
2) Put together Educational Packets... for distribution through developing Neighborhood Walk Program! We will be hearing from some successful "Walkers" and asking for volunteers in our meeting!
3) Explaining developing Tea Party Call Center. Asking for volunteers
4) Brainstorming on how to get masses of people from the valley to the August 28th Tea Party Express in Sacramento. This discussion will envelope several different aspects from a convoy to pre-event events here in the valley, etc. etc
5) Brainstorming for future ACTIONS! Look... we are going to give people ownership of the Tea Party!! All ideas will be entertained and hopefully some good ones will come out for future events!
“ First of all: not enough capacity; which, I will admit, is a good problem. Secondly, the tea party is supposedly non partisan and yet it was held at the GOP headquarters. I am not Republican and any tea party coordinators should surely refrain from bastardizing a truly grassroots movement by allowing it to become a GOP commercial. Stick to the values: Sound money, zero taxes, zero theft. Other than that, some really great people with some great ideas. The stamping of money with "End the Fed" is a beautiful concept that has me out to order my own stamp. ”
