Why: AGENDA WILL BE: Discuss promotion of next public forum and assign people to
Grendell / Dolan debate on Sat., May 10, 2008.

Meeting Description: The public forum with Senator Tim Grendell, on May 1st at
Chardon Middle School, worked out very well. There were about 70 people there.
Next public forum with Senator Grendell, ( Mon., May 12, 2008 - 6:30 P.M.) at
West Geauga High School cafeteria. We expect a significantly larger crowd at this one.
There are a few dedicated people in Geauga county working hard to inform the public
about the Great Lakes Compact. And they deserve our support.
I would like to thank Ed Corsi for his continued drive and efforts.
Several members of the Geauga Constitutional Council are also key members of
some of our Ron Paul for president MeetUp groups.
And I want to thank them for staying involved and defending our constitution as well.

Liberty items for the troops

Capt Joshua Tucker currently stationed in Afghanistan.

I would like to see if anyone has any Liberty-type items that they
would like to send in care packages to the troops. I can receive
the packages, unpack them and put them in spots where troops
have access to them. Some items off the top of my head that you
can send:

- Books:
- Magazines:
- Any Ron Paul/Liberty type literature: Slim Jims, business cards,
pamphlets, copies of the Constitution.
- Freedom type DVDs, shows, documentaries. "Freedom to Fascism"
- You can mix in basic toiletry items like small shaving gel cans,
toothbrushes, etc.
- Anything else you would like to send

When I talk politics to many of the guys, they have a libertarian
view toward the world. But almost none of them knew of Ron Paul.
I will be here for 3 more months. It takes approx 10 days for a
package to arrive from the states.

McCain Up to Dirty Tricks

I posted this bulletin about 45 minutes ago:

If you?re reading this-I need your help immediately..

My husband just received a call from a woman stating she was a
volunteer for the Oklahoma GOP. She asked if we were planning
on making it to the Oklahoma State Convention and since my
husband wasn?t at the meet-up last night, he told her ?yes?.

I told him afterwards to call back and let them know we weren?t sure
(because we don?t want anybody knowing our numbers), and when he
did a reverse look-up on the number, it was from the
John McCain HQ in Arlington, VA!!!

This is outrageous and we are taking full advantage of the situation.
I was advised by state RP coordinators to call the press and testify
that John McCain is deceiving Oklahoma Republicans by having his
volunteers say that they are from the State GOP. Also, we need to
contact as many meet-ups in VA as we can to swamp McCain?s
telephone lines with calls telling them we do not appreciate this
treatment- and hopefully all of the calls will help put a dent in their
efforts to get our numbers..

Please, pass this on to everyone you know! If we can spread the news-
it will run in the press all day tomorrow, and hopefully help us out
MAJORLY at the state convention..
