I can't find the results of the 70th district's voting for Republican Central Committee. I made fliers and walked my neighborhood with your name as well as Ethan's and Allan's names. Did you win? I was so impressed that you would spend your time running and representing us.

Before you guys go ahead and consider voting for Bob Barr, please look into his past.
I personally dont know enough about him to make an informed decision but I do get the feeling he is far from what most of us Ron Paul supporters are looking for. He may possibly be a neo con in disguise.
A few things that i do know are true are as follows:
From 1970 to 1978, Barr was employed by the
Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). (A department of the government that is against libertarian values and something Ron Paul would consider abolishing)
Congressman Barr voted for the Patriot Act. (This is a no-brainer)
Barr is also a supporter of the drug war according to his record and is against medical marijuana . This is against libertarian values also.
From wikipedia:
War on drugs
Barr was a strong supporter of the
War on Drugs, reflecting his previous experience as an Anti-Drug Coordinator for the
Department of Justice.
[4] While in Congress, he was a member of the
Speaker's Task Force for a Drug-Free America.
[22][23] This task force was established in 1998 by then-Speaker
Newt Gingrich to "design a
World War II-style victory plan to save America's children from illegal drugs."
[24] The task force crafted legislation specifically designed to "win the War on Drugs by 2002".
[24] | There is no legitimate use whatsoever for marijuana. This is not medicine. This is bogus witchcraft. It has no place in medicine, no place in pain relief... | ? |

Food for thought... Thanks for hearing me out.

Allan,
Writing in Ron Paul would only work if Ron Paul was an "approved" write-in candidate. There is a procedure for this. I think he'd need declared delegates too. If the procedure isn't followed, a write-in will be discarded.
I believe Barr would be a good alternate. Ron Paul may not be able to endorse anyone due to his being friends with Baldwin, yet he's friends with Barr.
Winning will be difficult, but we can never hope
to do this without working
together for ONE COMMON CANDIDATE.
