------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saturday’s campaign organizational meetings in Gloucester, Cape May and Atlantic Counties together attracted nearly 200 activists who will be joining me working night and day to win this election and take back New Jersey.

Our Bergen County organizational meeting will be held on Tuesday night, January 6th, at 7 pm at the Paramus Elks, 200 Route 17 North regardless of the weather. I will be there and if you are a Bergen County resident (or live nearby), I hope you will brave the anticipated weather and join our team.

Future scheduled meetings are as follows:
Sussex County -- Saturday, January 10th -- 10 am -- County Technical School, 105 North Church Rd. (Route 94) -- Sparta

Morris County -- Saturday, January 10th -- 4 pm -- Parsippany Elks, 230 Parsippany Road -- Parsippany

Ocean County -- Tuesday, January 13th -- 7 pm -- Holiday Inn -- 290 Route 37 East -- Toms River

Union County -- Wednesday, January 14th -- 7 pm -- Rahway Italian-American Club, 530 New Brunswick Avenue -- Rahway.

Monmouth County -- Thursday, January 15th -- 7 pm -- Freehold Elks Club -- 73 East Main -- Freehold.

New Jersey Is the Perfect Bad Example
Obama should look here to see what high taxes do.

When Barack Obama makes his New Year's resolutions, at the top of his list ought to be the following: "I will not allow America to become New Jersey."

Think of it as our gift to the nation. Other states offer promising experiments in areas such as Medicaid, taxes, education and regulatory reform. In contrast, the People's Republic of New Jersey offers America something truly unique: the perfect bad example.

CORZINE’S MONEY DOESN’T INTIMIDATE ME
Unlike others, I am not intimidated by Jon Corzine’s money because I know I have thousands of friends and supporters across this state who share my conservative values and desire to take back our state from the left-wing liberal extremists who see our neighborhoods as social laboratories and our children as guinea pigs.

How will Jon Corzine spend his money, anyway? Reminding people that we have the highest taxes and the worst business climate of any state? That he is trying to force over 100,000 High Density, Low Income Housing units into every New Jersey town? That he is bankrupting our education system because he is controlled by public employee labor unions? Or will he “go negative?” Let him because unlike many past candidates, this Republican will not be out punched and thanks to your support, we’re going to have the money to fight right back.

I’m going to make one more prediction.

By the time you and I are finished with Jon Corzine, he’ll be applying for one of those COAH houses he wants to build in your town.

Thank you for your help and support. I will never forget your confidence in me as the person who can turn this state around. Thanks to you, we will beat Corzine and take back New Jersey.

On to Victory,
Steve Lonegan
Republican for Governor
