 We haven't had a meeting for several months. Now\, the Nov 4 election is on
 ly a couple weeks away\, Ricardo suggested that we have a little meeting. P
 ossible topics for discussion:\n\nDeciding who to vote for\n    - Chuck Bal
 dwin - this is who Ron Paul says he is voting for. Should we vote for him\,
  too? He is a qualified write-in candidate in California.\n    - Lynn Wools
 ey replacement - Ron Paul denounced congress for passing the big bailout bi
 ll a couple weeks ago\, and said that we should do our best to "vote the ra
 scals out". Our own Lynn Woolsey is fairly well entrenched\, but we have th
 e ballot alternatives of Mike Halliwell\, Republican\, or Joel Smolen\, Lib
 ertarian. Joel has agreed to come and answer our questions about why we sho
 uld vote for him.\n\nHow do we promote our candidates?\nOnce we have decide
 d to to vote for and endorse\, what can we do to help them get elected?\n\n
 do they have yard signs we can put up? Bumper stickers?\ncan we do canvassi
 ng for them?\nhelp them with distributing flyers?\n\n\nSocializing\nAfter t
 aking care of business\, as above\, we could socialize and schmooze. Steve
