Ron Paul 2008 - Hope for America Rally - Atlanta

The Georgia State Capitol will be the location for the Ron Paul 2008 -Hope for America- Rally, Saturday, February 2, 2008, at 12:00 Noon, hosted by The Georgia Coalition for Ron Paul 2008.

James Bell, organizer of the "Super Saturday" event said he is overwhelmed by the popularity of Dr. Ron Paul in Georgia. "This event will give supporters, from all over the southeast, an opportunity to share the hope we see in the principles and leadership of Ron Paul", Bell said.
Paul's campaign spokesman late Sunday announced the campaign had eclipsed the $5.7 million that John Kerry raised the day after he locked up the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination - arguably the largest single-day fundraising haul in U.S. political history.
"We believe Georgia wants a president that understands our constitution and supports a limited federal government, lower taxes and personal freedom", said Bell. "Ron Paul's supporters have given me hope that our nation is not lost to apathy and hopelessness and that people from all walks of life can come together and publicly display our love for freedom and a better America."
The rally will take place on the west plaza of the Georgia State Capitol from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm. The public is invited to bring signs and banners and balloons to show support for Ron Paul on "Super Tuesday" (Feb. 5).
"We want to remind the voters of Georgia there IS a reason to go to the polls February 5th, his name is Ron Paul", said Bell.
The event will include special guest speakers and musical guests (TBA).
