I know many people are worried that our time may have run out for us to take action by winning elections. One of our members has created a local survival meet up group. He is very excited and hopes "to focus on our common interest for survival in crises of any kind, and form a support network".

Curt,

I've met you at a couple of RP rallies and we discussed the
political situation in the country. Well, the election has come
and gone and we're now racing like a runaway train toward
socialism and possible economic and national security calamity.
In this light, I've created the Sarasota Emergency Survival
meetup group. We will address economic collapse, hurricane
preparedness, societal breakdown, medical emergencies when
there is no doctor, and much more.

As a RP supporter myself, I know there are many other RP people
who share the same concerns, which is why I was hoping you
could make an announcement to the group and direct them to our
website, if they're interested. I must say, though, that this
is NOT another political group, since survival issues attract
leftists and conservatives alike, gunowners and pacifists, and
both the religious and atheists. We expect quite a cross-
section, but our goal is to focus on our common interest for
survival in crises of any kind, and form a support network.

You'll see all of this along with our appeal to people who want
something like this and are willing to work toward a common
goal with others who might be across the aisle politically.
