Republican National Convention 2008

The RPOF has updated the 2008 Republican National Convention section of our website. The page contains information on submitting your application to become a delegate, as well as other useful information on the 2008 Republican National Convention.

* The 2008 Republican National Convention will be held September 1-4 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
* At the convention, the attending delegates will choose and nominate the Republican Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates for the 2008 Presidential election.
* All Republicans registered in Florida are eligible to run for election as a delegate or an alternate to the convention. Any person who wishes to run as a delegate or alternate for their specific congressional district should contact their respective Congressional District Chair. Any person wishing to run for an at-large seat should contact the Republican Party of Florida.
* Applications to become delegates will soon be available for download on the RPOF website. All delegates will be required to submit an application and be required to complete a loyalty oath.
