Delegate Selection District 13

“ It was interesting, but controlled by the Chairman, Kathy King. The list of delegates approved by the State Republican Committee was read and Peter Simonson, Bev & John Higgens, Julie Gage, Curt Schultz, Bill Hickman and Kathy Bolam and one other were approved and each of us was able to introduce ourselves and given 2 minutes to tell why we wanted to go to the National Convention. None of us were voted to either be delegates or alternates. The Delegates at Large will be picked in Orlando on May 9th or 10th by the State Organization. The chairman stated the rules of the voting.....secret ballots, counted out of the room by 2 members of the caucus who were not on the potential delegate list and then the ballots were destroyed. That's there rules.......there were 6 Ron Paul people there......Kathy I was glad I attended. ”
