 canvass this weekend - both Saturday and Sunday.  Join us as we visit Repub
 lican neighborhoods across New Jersey.  We will be door-knocking on known R
 epublican homes\, speaking with the voters trying to get their support.\n\n
 We will be meeting at 9:30 am in our campaign office.  We will get organize
 d\, and then take off for an afternoon of door-knocking.\n\nWe have:\n\nPus
 h-cards / Slim Jims\nWalking lists of known Republican Voters\n\nWe need:\n
 \nVolunteers willing to go door-to-door\nVolunteers with cars willing to dr
 ive\nIf you have a portable GPS unit\, please bring it! \n\n===\n\nIt's inc
 redibly easy to get to the office. The PATH train runs from the World Trade
  Center to Exchange Place\, Jersey City. Many subway lines stop at the Worl
 d Trade Center. The A\,C\,E\,R\,W\,J\,M\,Z\,2\,3\,4\,5 are all a 5 minute w
 alk to the PATH station. Once you take the 4 minute subway ride into Jersey
  City\, the campaign office is one block away. The total time from the Worl
 d Trade Center to the campaign office is about fifteen minutes.\n\nOnce abo
 ve ground in Jersey City\, walk inland 1 block on Montgomery Street. We are

 the libertarian movement\, I have never seen a more incredible lineup of sp
 eakers than those at our upcoming June 6-8 conference ?Restoring the Republ
 ic 2008: Foreign Policy and Civil Liberties.? As fantastic as last year?s c
 onference was\, I have no doubts whatsoever that this year?s conference is 
 going to surpass it. One of the primary reasons for this is one of our new 
 speakers\, Andrew J. Bacevich\, whose talk I am certain will absolutely cap
 tivate the audience.\n\nWhy did we invite Andrew to speak at this conferenc
 e? Primarily because of his vocal\, eloquent\, and well-reasoned opposition
  to the philosophy of empire and interventionism that unfortunately continu
 es to hold our nation in its grip.\n\nBut what will give real power to Andr
 ew?s speech will be his personal background.\n\nA graduate of the U.S. Mili
 tary Academy\, Andrew was a soldier by profession. He served in Vietnam jus
 t after the Tet offensive.\n\nHe received his Ph.D in American diplomatic h
 istory from Princeton and now teaches history and international relations a
 t Boston University.\n\nLast year Andrew suffered the worst tragedy that ca
 n ever befall a parent when his son was killed in Iraq in a war that Andrew
  has long opposed. He wrote about that wrenching experience in an extremely
  moving piece that appeared in the Washington Post entitled ?I Lost My Son 
 to a War I Oppose. We Were Both Doing Our Duty.?\n\nWe are both excited and
  honored that Andrew has accepted our invitation to speak at the conference
 . His speech will almost certainly be a conference highlight. As I?ve state
 d before\, this is one conference you do not want to miss\, and this is one
  speech you do not want to miss.\n\nIf you?d like to do a bit of home study
