 gic Thinking Society\, speaking about\nlegalizing internet (and in-person) 
 poker.\n\nhttp://gpsts.org\n\nThe William F. Weld Professor of Law at Harva
 rd Law\nSchool and the founder of the Berkman Center for\nInternet & Societ
 y\, Charles Nesson is the author of\nEvidence\, with Murray and Green\, and
  has participated\nin several cases before the U.S. Supreme Court\,\ninclud
 ing Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals.\nNesson defended Daniel Ellsber
 g in the Pentagon Papers\ncase and consulted on the case against W.R. Grace
  that\nwas adapted into the film A Civil Action.\n\nNesson attended Harvard
  College as an undergraduate\,\nand Harvard Law School. After joining the l
 ist of only\na handful of people in history to have graduated summa\ncum la
 ude from the Law School\, he was a Law Clerk to\nJustice John Marshall Harl
 an II on the United States\nSupreme Court\, 1965 term. After working in the
 \nDepartment of Justice\, Nesson joined the Harvard Law\nSchool faculty in 
 1966\, and was tenured in 1969.\n\nHe is currently leading a project to rei
 fy the\nuniversity as a meta player in cyberspace\, to\nlegitimize and teac
 h poker and the value of strategic\npoker thinking\, and to advance restora
 tive justice in\nJamaica. During the academic year\, he teaches a course\ni
 n the law and practice of evidence. In the fall of\n2006\, he taught CyberO
 ne: Law in the Court of Public\nOpinion\, which welcomed the participation 
 of the\nInternet community at large through the Second Life\nvirtual world.
  In 2007 he is teaching\, in addition to\nCyberOne\, Trials in Second Life
