We will be screening a copy of George Orwell Rolls Over in His Grave. Discussion will follow.

From Wikipedia
"Orwell Rolls in His Grave is a 2004 documentary film written and directed by Robert Kane Pappas. It examines the current and past relationships between the media, the US government and corporations, analyzing the possible consequences of the concentration of media ownership. Making references to George Orwell's novel 1984, the film argues that reality has met and in some ways exceeded Orwell's expectations about a society dominated by thought control, which is made possible by the media. According to the film, the mass media no longer report news, but manage it, deciding what makes the headlines and what is conveniently ignored, thus ultimately defining the framework upon which most other issues are discussed by the society. As an example, it is claimed that since the late 1980s there's been an agenda pursued by the major media corporations regarding the deregulation of the media market, by which news reports sell all its benefits while neglecting its disastrous results.

The film features discussions from, amongst others, Bernie Sanders, Charles Lewis, Michael Moore, Danny Schechter, Robert W. McChesney, Mark Crispin Miller, Mark Lloyd, Greg Palast, Aurora Wallace and Vincent Bugliosi. Covered topics include political corruption, the controversy over the US presidential election of 2000 and the October Surprise Conspiracy.

The film has previously aired on Free Speech TV".

We are looking for a speaker from the local media to participate in the discussion. Any suggestions are welcome.

It's already been a full month since our first meeting in December. I look forward to sitting down with everyone and discussing what we were able to accomplish over the past month, and how we want to keep going forward!

Current Speakers:

Michael Illions from the Conservatives with Attitude!
http://www.GOPUSANJ.c...

Michael is the President of the CWA and has been a great supporter of our efforts over the past two years. He will be speaking on:
A - working together
B - finding common ground
C - accomplishing goals within the establishment

Also, Keep in mind that the new year brings the new requirements for the upcoming campaign season. Anyone who has the time should contact their county Elections Office to get the details on what offices are up for election as well as the requirements to run.

One of the easiest ways to make an impact on the political landscape is to register people to vote who will make the journey to the polls. Discussing education methods and registration guidelines would make a great impact, especially with the upcoming Gubernatorial race.

Speaking of the Governor's office, are there any interesting candidates out there? Is there anyone who would want to run with us? Would one of YOU want to be Governor? Bring some thoughts.

As for growing the movement, discussion of how to approach a discussion of politics and controlling the outcomes towards freedom and liberty is essential. Bring your war stories of persuading your friends, neighbors and strangers on the bus to look at freedom as the way forward.

On that note: Anyone been able to bring a Democrat over to the freedom side? Dems can be freedom lovers too. Adopt a donkey and invite them along.

And finally; We need statisticians and Lawyers! No formal training is needed, but having a few members dedicated to these areas will help a lot. This being a political group, we need to know who we are talking to, and statistics help us to find that out. And while we may enjoy the jokes, we will need members who can wade through the massive legalese and red tape of our government, especially when we start writing policy and taking over the state. Think about it, consider it, and let us know. If anyone has formal training or knows a person who does have it and would like to speak, bring them along!

A topic suggestion system will be set up on the 1st of January for any other areas of discussion and action you all would like on the agenda. You can also make suggestions when you RSVP. Please make our lives easier and RSVP, even if to say "No" or "Maybe."

Let the revolution continue. Please join us at the Omega Diner on Monday Dec. 7th at 6:30 for the first of many (I hope) planning meetings to see where we go from here. The battle has only begun.

We were thinking of starting out by looking toward 2009. Some topics to discuss:
What do we do next?
Attack plans?
GOP/DEMS/LP?
What offices do we run for in 2009? Who can research these offices?
Talking points for GOP meetings, ie conservative values.
How do we get into the GOP?

Remember, folks, we have only just begun the battle. If we can get our people in place in offices and party positions, 2012 will be that much closer to victory. We are not just summer warriors. So it's cold now, did the soldiers in Valley Forge and Morristown say, "nah, I'm not going to fight, it's too cold"? NO! They kept fighting and we have the country we have today. Let's not their bloodshed be in vain.

Whether Ron Paul runs again, or Jesse Ventura or Gary Johnson runs (or all three), we need to be ready in positions to help them get elected. Just because the 2008 election is over, the war is not.

We want to get this group going again, we want to get everyone all fired up. ....... let the discussion begin!!!

PLEASE NOTE: if we have a large enough turnout, the venue will be changed. Please stay tuned for details!

Dr. Murray Sabrin won the Gloucester County Republican Party endorsement for U.S. Senate today after defeating his opponent, Joe Pennacchio in a 1 ½ hour debate in front of the voters. This was a very impressive victory for Dr. Sabrin and his campaign to Legalize Freedom. Dr. Sabrin called on the remaining GOP Conventions to hold a debate beforehand to give the voters an opportunity to see the contrast between a big-government Republican (Joe Pennacchio) and a limited-government Republican (Murray Sabrin).

The next convention is Thursday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the Somerville Elks in Bridgewater - contact: 908-725-3380 somgoporgl@aol.com (Chairman Dale Florio)

Even though only county delegates can vote, we need to have a good showing.

Thanks, Gloria

About the film:
UNCOUNTED is an explosive documentary that shows how the election fraud that changed the outcome of the 2004 election led to even greater fraud in 2006 - and now looms as an unbridled threat to the outcome of the 2008 election. This controversial film by Emmy award-winning director David Earnhardt examines in factual, logical, and yet startling terms how easy it is to change election outcomes and undermine election integrity across the U.S.
As we approach the decisive election of 2008, UNCOUNTED will change how you feel about the way votes are counted in America.

ALL NEW DETAILS...

Project: SHILLELAGH

Folks,

This is going to be fun. Coming off the success of our February 29th Money Bomb, we will be marching in the Saint Patrick's Day Parade down in Mount Holly, New Jersey this March 1st.

We already have a bag piper, the Murray Sabrin Van, A Float on which both Murray and Florence will be riding on, and we are expecting ALL OF YOU to show up..

Yes, I said IT, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!!!!!!!!!

Our goal, is to have 1,000 Murray Sabrin Supporters show up at our staging area, and march behind our float. We are looking for people to bear flags (list below), Bring HOME MADE Murray Signs, and we are looking for people to march along with us and hand out buttons and candy to the crowd. Since we cannot throw candy from the vehicle or the float, its vital that we have volunteers show up for this event.

Flags which are allowed to be displayed:

American
Spirit of '76 (Betsy Ross) American
Irish Flag
POW-MIA Flag
Gadsden Flag (Don't Tread on Me)
State of New Jersey Flag

The more flags the murray-er....

I REALLY DO NEED AN AMERICAN FLAG AND AN IRISH FLAG UP FRONT NEAR THE BAG PIPER.. THIS IS VITAL!

Don't Have a Flag? NO PROBLEM...

Make a MURRAY SABRIN For U.S. Senate Sign to bring with you and wave as we march along the 1 mile parade route.... Since we do not have our professional made signs yet, I ask that everyone makes atleast one, preferrably two so someone else may have one if they don't.

Candy, Buttons and Literature will be provided for those who wish to walk along the sides of the boulevard and distribute such items to the crowd.

THIS EVENT IS FREE, SO THERES NO REASON YOU SHOULDN'T BE ATTENDING.

On the day of the event, We will gather everyone together and briefly go over some parade rules and etiquette. They are simple enough and my experience working with most of you guys in the past has shown that we are very smart and mature about how we handle and present ourselves. I am not really worried about this.

Code of dress. There is no dress code however please do not show up looking like a slob. Of course we encourage those who wish to wear costume (Statue of Liberty, Colonial Period Costume, anything Saint Patrick's Day, you get the idea).
