you cant believe how much trouble i had today trying to buy the new ron paul book from barnes and noble!! first i went in and couldnt find it in the new release section so i checked the political section, when i didnt find it there i asked a gal who looked it up. the computer showed they had 8 books, so she went to look for it. soon she had employed the help of 2 others who were searching everywhere. everyone looked perplexed and shrugging their shoulders that they couldnt find any......so ...i asked the manager to help since i was getting nowhere with the 3 stooges. the manager took me right to the table where she said they were and said it was supposed to be "high profile" (?) for a month..... as she kept looking, one of the other gals told me they had sold them all. i told her the computer said there were 8 in stock and she tried to tell me that's all they got! (hard to believe).

anyway, after about 18 mins of searching with me standing there waiting. the first girl came out of the back room with---you guessed it, 8 ron paul manifesto books. i was furious by that point as i had jsut spent the last 20 mins standing in front of the new release display looking at tons of books by obama, clinton'(s), hannity and steven colbert oh and some other comedian's book.-all very prominently displayed. as i left, i told her it was diplorable that these "comedians" got prime positioning for their publication and yet ron paul's book was stacked in some back room. i have a good mind to blog about this in every blog i can get to. can you believe??!! what's up with that?!
