Lecture by Stephen Nasser, Holocaust survivor
The atrocities perpetrated upon the Jews by the Nazis during World War II are hard to think about. If we permit ourselves to grasp the horror of the Holocaust, then we must confront the dark recesses of our own natures and question our own priorities. It is painful to believe that such horrors could ever happen, let alone be repeated. Stephen Nasser was 13 years old when the Nazis whisked him and his family away from their home in Budapest Hungary to Auschwitz. While the rest of the world stood by, Stephen endured the unspeakable brutality of Auschwitz and Muhldorf, and witnessed the horrible and meaningless deaths of his loved ones. Of the 21 family members taken away, he was the only one to survive. Come hear his powerful and inspirational story.
An honorarium of $1 per person is suggested, but not required. Also, his book My Brothers Voice will be available for anyone who would like a copy.
