Good afternoon.
Just a few announcements as we approach our Convention process and the February 5 primary.
1)--We will have a regular meeting on February 12 at 6 PM. We are planning and should confirm this week it will be at the CSU Cunningham Center. Our tentative program is a City Government Update with a speaker from City Council. We will also be discussing our proposed headquarters location and the precinct/county convention process to send delegates to the Republican National Convention.
2)--Our Precinct Caucuses will all be held at the Columbus Public Library on February 16. Registration opens at 9 AM and closes at 10 AM. We should be finished by Noon. Please come participate as you will need to come to this meeting to qualify to be a delegate to the National Convention in September.
3)--We are planning a primary night event for February 5. Once I get final confirmation this week I will e-mail you further details in the next Chairman's Report.
4)--I have been contacted by numerous campaigns asking for volunteers and help. While the Party is staying neutral, if any of you are interested in any Presidential campaign please let me know and I will get contact information to you asap.
5)--There is the first in a series of City "Visioning" meetings for the comprehensive plan tonight at 6 PM at Midland Middle School. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard on how Columbus should plan for the future. I will be posting the other meetings in a future issue of the Chairman's Report.
6)--Thank you for all that you do for our Party and I am excited to see you all on primary night and for our regular meeting in February and our Precinct Caucuses.
