Muskegon-area residents will have a chance to give their thoughts about utility bills and telephone service to state regulators.
Topics will include electric and natural gas rates for the winter, energy efficiency programs and financial help for low-income customers. One of the commission's members will be at each forum to explain how the panel makes decisions and to gather feedback.
The Michigan Public Service Commission is composed of three members appointed by the governor. Its stated mission is to grow Michigan's economy and enhance the quality of life of its communities by assuring safe and reliable energy, telecommunications, and transportation services at reasonable prices.
