Guys a number of us have conflicts - I am really sick (fever, etc) and Josh has had to work late. Another is having problems voting and has to see a judge. I apologize for postponing this so late - I didn't want to cancel it just because I was sick but looks like thats the best thing to do now. We will reschedule! One last 'official' meetup for the group - with no agenda other than to have some fun and watch as the returns come in on Tuesday night. I've picked the Sports Page Pub for lack of other suggestions - there is a Ranger game that night so there should be some people but not so many as to be crowded (it is Tuesday night!) and they have a lot of TV's so should be able to spare one for CNN. It is located in the same mini-mall as the White Plains DMV. The mall has a parking lot (paid at gate) though sometimes street parking is available too.

One of the members found a stash of 150 in their car so I plan on going around in Port Chester around lunch time (roughly 1pm, not set in stone). If any one else is around and wants to help, let me know.

Hey everybody. This week-end will be the most effective remaining time to put up yards signs and telephone pole signs. I have 75 one sided signs and Angela has 70 yards signs. I am willing to give out the signs to anybody who is wants to drive around near polling stations and place the signs for super tuesday. Please contact me and let me know if you want to help so I can coordinate a meeting place and give out the materials. Thanks -Joshua. 917-306-1008

Just have to finish up the letters - there are about 1000 left (we did about 750 last night give or take). A lot of the envelopes have return labels now so that is one less thing to do and we have practice now too :) Panera is pretty easy to find - between the Costco and movie theaters, there is parking all around it.

On further review, I've moved this to Tuesday night so as to give a little extra room for me and Alex to print the letters and envelope labels. The response rate has been great - you may get an email confirming your commitment, please respond to it ASAP. It looks to be about $10 per 100 letters for materials and then the postage cost of $41. The printed letters will be folded, put in envelopes (I'll be getting the ones that have a pull strip) and labels afixed. This is what we will be doing Tuesday night. You then take your allotment home and bring directly to the post office to mail. Stamps can be bought there, many supermarkets and even at some ATMS (commerce bank). In addition, I have a lot of material to give out for last minute literature drops at local train/bus stations or other locations of your choice. Josh and Angela also have signs which should be put out late Sunday, or better yet late Monday. Signs should be placed (legally) near voting places - I'll have a list so that you can target those in your community.

If you have time on Sunday and feel like making a short trip over the Tappan Zee, Subir's group in Rockland is holding a sign wave in Nyack. Complete details are here: http://ronpaul.meetu p.com/1130/calendar/ 7099408/

Just as in prior weeks we will be doing door to door canvassing with our door hangers and speaking to any voters who happen to be outside as we go by. We will meet at 12 noon in the parking lot of Rye High School. The main lot is on the Milton Road side of the school. Maps/address packets will be given out there and we will split up. Rye is a heavily Republican town and most areas are set up in a grid, but houses have bigger lots than the areas of Harrison and Mamaroneck we've been in. Plan on finishing up between 3:0 and 3:30pm. There is a pizza place in downtown and a Starbucks Rye we can stop at after. We will also be meeting to brainstorm messages and answers to voter questions about the impact of the Iowa caucuses and the NH primary and rearticulate why we believe it is important to support Ron Paul in the New York primary. While it is clear how important it is to bring the message of freedom, prosperity and peace to as many voters as possible, some voters may reassert that a vote for Paul is a wasted vote if he is behind in polls and deligates. We need to explain how Ron Paul is shaping the political debate and openning peoples eyes about the war, honest money ... etc

For those of you unable to make the trip to NH: Most of you have a supply of door hangers left from our recent events. Please use the maps/files in the files section to canvass in your local area. If you are low on door hangers, please contact me and I will get you a few more. As a heads up - we will be doing Rye next weekend and perhaps Dobbs Ferry as well.
