The BOE has finally posted town by town results based on 961/1033
precints and 768 absentee ballots. The uptodate totals are here.

There was not a tremendous variation - 4.5% seemed the average of the areas we worked in
(note that Mt. Pleasant and Greenburg include many towns we went to but also some we did
not) In Scarsdale, where we only did one sign wave an nothing else, RP did very poorly,
1.5%. In areas where we covered a large fraction of the town, like Harrison, we got 4.7%.
I wish we could have done as well as some other counties (7%) but many of those came in
areas where percentages were changed by 10's of votes or a place like Brooklyn which
had 1/3 the vote of westchester but a meetup with 30 times the membership. We did our
best to cover an area of 150 sq. miles with 8-12 active people.

Westchester was McCain country... clearing 60% in quite a few towns and 57.5% overall. I
really don't know what to say about people who would vote for Rudy even after he was out.
One notable thing from the NY exit polls was of the 42% who voted 'personal qualities' , 66%
broke for McCain. I guess this fits in with his pulling a majority of those who disapprove of
Iraq?
